The 5-string Chaos Core 5 Traben bass comes with a Aguilar OBP-3 preamp with 3-band EQ, volume, a 5-way switch, and dual Rockfield humbucker pickups. These electronics capture the warm, soft tones that resonate through the exotic paulownia (a native Chinese tree) wood of the body and its burled or quilt maple tops. The shape of the Chaos Core 5 bass guitar with its glorious lines and sweeping curves is another aspect of its appeal. All in all, the Chaos 5 makes for a lightweight bass that is satisfying, both aesthetically and sonically.
