The Dual Turntables CS418 manual turntable delivers robust, precision performance. You get an MDF plinth with a black vinyl veneer and vibration-absorbing elastomer feet, ensuring resonance-free stability. The aluminum die-cast platter has a heavy rubber mat that damps unwanted resonances, while spinning on a hardened steel spindle in a brass bushing for long-term precision. The statically balanced, straight aluminum tonearm rides on ball bearings and features a damped lift and adjustable, spring-loaded antiskating for accurate tracking. You'll enjoy the highly resolving Ortofon 2M red cartridge along with a switchable MM phono preamp. Ease of use comes from the electronic 33/45/78 RPM speed selector and rotary antiskating control. Isolating the DC motor with rubber mountings and driving the platter via a precision belt minimizes wow and flutter.
