British Drum Co. Legend Series Fusion 4-Piece Shell Pack With 22" Bass Drum - Windsor Dark

Powerful projection, crisp attack and handcrafted British construction define the British Drum Co. Legend Series Fusion 4-piece shell pack. Built entirely from Scandinavian birch using the company's proprietary cold-press molding process, the Legend Series shell pack features cross-laminated 6 mm shells designed for deep fundamental tones, immediate attack and controlled sustain. Precision-cut 45-degree bearing edges contribute to the kit's responsive character, while a broad tuning range allows drummers to move from crisp, articulate tones at higher tensions to deep, punchy sounds at lower tunings. The Fusion configuration pairs 10x7" and 12x8" rack toms with a 16x16" floor tom and 22x16" bass drum, providing an expanded four-piece foundation for stage and studio performance. Art Deco-inspired Palladium hardware, isolation-mounted tom brackets and distinctive British Drum Co. badges complete the build. Presented in a high-gloss finish, the Legend Series combines resonant birch construction with richly figured wood grain and refined visual appointments.

Cold-Pressed Birch Shells Deliver Power and Articulation

Each Legend Series shell is handcrafted from 100% Scandinavian birch using British Drum Co.'s proprietary cold-press molding technology. The cross-laminated construction produces a strong 6 mm shell, while precision-cut 45-degree bearing edges help define the kit's immediate attack and deep, controlled sustain. Birch's naturally lower fundamental tones give the drums a substantial tonal foundation, with enough clarity to articulate subtle playing. At higher tunings, the shells respond with crisp definition and sensitivity, while lower tunings emphasize the bass drum's punch and the toms' low-end growl. This combination of projection, resonance and tuning flexibility makes the Legend Series adaptable to different playing styles and musical settings.

Palladium Hardware Combines Distinctive Styling and Stability

Small, single Art Deco-inspired Palladium lugs distinguish the Legend Series, giving the toms and bass drum a cohesive visual identity. British Drum Co.'s Palladium tom brackets use a bespoke isolation system designed to preserve shell resonance while maintaining dependable positioning. The bass drum claws incorporate black thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) gaskets to help protect the hoops from contact with the hardware. Laser-engraved vent badges carry the Made in Britain inscription, while the company's signature laser-cut B badges reveal the shell finish through their negative-space design. The Windsor Dark finish features a richly patterned, chocolate-toned veneer beneath high-gloss lacquer, complementing the kit's handcrafted construction and distinctive hardware.

Fusion Configuration for a Deeper Tonal Range

The Fusion configuration combines 10x7" and 12x8" rack toms with a 16x16" floor tom and 22x16" bass drum, providing an expanded four-piece foundation built around the Legend Series' resonant birch shells. The two rack toms offer additional tonal separation and rhythmic possibilities, while the floor tom and bass drum emphasize the deep, punchy character British Drum Co. associates with lower tunings. Across the kit, the 45-degree bearing edges and cold-pressed shells support a broad tuning range, from crisp articulation to full-bodied low-end response. For drummers seeking handcrafted British construction, powerful projection and an expanded tom configuration, the British Drum Co. Legend Series Fusion 4-piece shell pack combines distinctive design with the versatile character of Scandinavian birch.
