This MEINL Sonic Energy Didgeridrum is a hybrid acoustic instrument that combines the deep, earthy drone of a didgeridoo with the rhythmic pulse of a frame drum. Built with a 17.5" synthetic drum head and an ergonomically curved mouthpiece, it can be played as a frame drum, as a didgeridoo or both at the same time. The drum head delivers rich, resonant beats, while the body produces the characteristic vibrating tones associated with a didgeridoo, allowing rhythm and sustained drone to coexist in a single instrument. This hybrid design supports creative sound journeys, percussion ensembles and experimental solo performance. The instrument includes a soft carrying bag and a mallet, making it ready for transport and immediate use.
