Issued credit to credit card

The customer service agent I spoke to said that a credit had been issued to my credit card. The bank does not show any credit. Can you tell me if the credit has been issued?

It may take up to 72 hours for your bank to process and post a credit once it has been issued. The processing time is controlled entirely by the bank. If the credit does not appear after a significant period of time, please contact our Gear Heads at 1-800-449-9128.
