The solid AAA Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides produce a balanced tone with articulate highs, warm mids and tight low end.

The FYM70 starts with a solid AAA Sitka spruce top, renowned for its resonance and clarity. The top is braced with Alvarez's FST6 system, which provides strength and vibration for robust tone. The solid rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth. An ebony bridge and fingerboard provide crisp note definition. The dovetail neck joint, bone nut and saddle and gloss finish are all testaments to the FYM70's premium quality.
Playability and Comfort
The FYM70's mahogany neck has an easy-playing slim profile that feels familiar in your hands. The 25" scale length and 1 3⁄4" nut width strike a balance between comfort and fret spacing. The ebony fingerboard has a 9.5" radius for smooth bending and 20 nickel silver frets. Whether fingerpicking or strumming, the FYM70 plays with ease.
