I play every day with this guitar and I like it! The action of the neck is simply amazing. The tone these emg are delivering is very great. I gave 4 in the feature because of the clean sound. The clean sound is not that bad, you can get a very good clean sound with a 10 band graphic equalizer, but without... This is a little frequencey you need to kill. I bought it a little more than 2 years ago, and the only complaint I have is the clean sound (I'm always playing hard rock-metal, but in some song, I need it) beacause I need versatility (I'm a cegep student... in music, guitar...). Not the greatest for jazz, but, every thing have weakness... So, I recommend this guitar (the buzzsaw). If had the choise of go back in the time and change it or use it again, again, for the better or for the worst, I took the second option.

Smokin' Guitar

By AlexLear666

from Portland

I got this guitar a couple days ago and it is the best guitar i have played in my life. The pickups are incredible. I also purchaced the Wylde Overdrive and it sounds sweet. I would suggest this guitar for the people who like good sound and sweet looks.

a great guitar

I have had this guitar for a while now and I love it, the passive EMG'S can do it all, the finish of the guitar was excellent, the only complaint that I can come up with is that the Grover tuners tarnish easy if you don't keep a eye on them. Plug this in to a Marshall and let 'er rip.

Ask me a question

I've had this guitar for about 2 years and it's one of the best sounding guitars I've owned. I was amazed at the sound of the pickups the very first time I plugged it in. I am extremly picky when it comes to the tone of my guitar, but this thing has that beautiful warm chunky distortion. I love playing this guitar. This guitar is great for playing all kinds of rock, but this thing shines like a 1,000 suns when it comes to playing metal. BUY THIS GUITAR!!!

I've owned this guitar for only a short amount of time, but I am in love! The EMG pickups make her sound like a dream, the tone is amazing, the neck is really confortable, and the weight is just right for a Les Paul!Mine is in the camo finish, and it looks sweet, too!I own a 1969 Gibson Les Paul, and I prefer my Zakk Wylde over it any day!As a musician who's owned more guitars in my life than I have teeth, this is by far the best guitar I've ever owned!

The only guitar you will ever need...

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I have had this guitar for 2 years and counting. This guitar has all the nescities of a great guitar. The emgs are made for high gain and great tone. The neck is thin and fast and will never warp on you. The finsh is breath taking and the guitar has good wait in the bottom. You need to buy this.

AMAZING

By Moogle-aSizu

This is the second guitar that i own, but not the first epi or gibson or strat or any other guitar i've played, the sound in this guitar (when plugged into a MARSHALL amp) is literally breath taking, the buzzsaw color stands out in the room, the sound defines rock, or whatever you want, i highly recomend this guitar to any one who wear the Black Label colors!!!

Great guitar for a great price.

If you don't have enough money to buy a gibson les paul but you want one with just as good of quality and an afordable price, then this is the way to to. It was a great warm sound that comes from that carved maple top. The maple neck just feels amazing and smooth. The only thing that I wished that it came with is Zakk wylde's active EMG pickups. But other then that I would highly recommend it, like I said "great price for a great guitar."

Great guitar

By LTD-Epiphone-Ibanez-Schecter

from Washington, D.C.

I played this is a music store today, and a few weeks ago too. It was just a really great sounding instrument. the EMGs made all the difference. This is the KING of Les Pauls! Plug into Marshall, Line 6 or any other good solid state amp and start ripping!

this guitar is WYLDE

By metal1550

from Bernie,MO

I played this guitar at a guitar shop and it rocks, the emgs are a big plus and the paint job is awsome. The only down sides are that it's heavy and forthe money you could find better guitar. If you can get past that then I say buy it.

Decent, but NOT worth Zakk's name.

By MusicMan12321

Alright, I went to my local music shop and saw the Buzzsaw version hanging up, so I tried it out. What a letdown. The EMG pickups are OK, I like DiMarzio's more. The fretboard felt like it had some kind of gunk coating it played so slow. Bends were more difficult than they needed to be. The strings were INCREDIBLY high. I'm talkin almost half an inch at the 21st fret. It's pretty versatile and sounded pretty good clean, but the playability of this guitar just SUCKS. If you want a real quality ZW Les Paul, buy a Les Paul Custom and add EMG's.

It's heavy, has mediocre action, and is too expensive. Save your money and buy a nice Gibson.

i love EMG pickups

I got my zakk wydle epiphone custom from my local music store today and it screams. I got one of the first edition ones that have the EMG 81, EMG 85 zakk wylde set.I don't think I would recommend it as highly without these screamin pickups. The camo color is just beautiful. I like the white bullseye better but I can't find one with the EMG ZW set in it.Oh well, I love this guitar and it sounds amazing thru my line 6 spider III 75 watt combo. You can play any type of music on it but I choose to play metal.

Great 2nd Guitar

By Andrew-Beyond Forever

from Canada

This was my second guitar I've ever had, its a great guitar and quite amazing to give to anyone for a gift, the pick-ups are amazing and the qualitiy for the price, you couldn't find a better guitar for that much, this is a great guitar but if your really good at guitar go for something like a Dean or Gibson, this is a guitar about above the average,

I love my Zakk Wylde

By Sweetfingers

from Leechburg, Pa

I have been a Gibson SG with humbuckers man since the SG gained its rightful fame. I called up Epiphone and talked to the head tech. He told me that this Epiphone was as good as its American counterpart. Only one problem, which was an easy fix, was the plug jack was loose and just needed tightning up. I play mostly jazz, blues, 80's and 90's rock and this guitar can be the most melodic, hard hitting guitar I have ever known. I use it coupled with a Fender Twin Reverb and effex, and 11 strings, and it just " rocks." I would buy another one.

I bought My Zakk Wylde Custom Camo today and I love it, its got the power and intensity to actually go on stage and gig with it full time and sounds amazing through my Laney GH100-L I would suggest this to anyone who has a Zakk Wylde influence in thier life, and I would definitely suggest this to anyone who loves Zakk's style and plays it personally!
