Overview

67 Reissue with weight-relief and Vibrola.

When the Flying V debuted in 1958, it was ahead of its time -- about nine years ahead, to be exact. Popular demand helped shape Gibson's decision to reintroduce it in 1967, this time with a sleek new look and a Vibrola tailpiece. The coveted originals command a huge fortune, but this Custom Shop recreation is both accessible and accurate. Every profile, contour and detail has been rendered in exceptional detail for an unforgettable playing and ownership experience.

Features

  • 2-piece mahogany body with weight relief
  • Mahogany neck with medium C-shape, Indian rosewood fretboard
  • Dual Custombucker Alnico III pickups, 3-way switch, 500K CTS tone and volume pots
  • Vibrola tailpiece, Kluson Reissue Double Ring tuners
