Its connection to Kramer’s legacy is clear in the speed-focused layout, but the Volante HHFR also pushes forward with a lightweight alder body, 3-piece thermally aged maple neck, Kramer KeyLock system, ebony compound-radius fingerboard and Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. Kramer USA Neptune Rhythm and Treble humbuckers feed a 5-way blade switch for a wide range of hum-canceling series, parallel and split-coil tones, making this commemorative model both collectible and deeply practical.

Alder Body and KeyLock Neck System

The Volante HHFR uses a lightweight alder body shaped for comfort during long rehearsals, recording sessions and live sets. Its 3-piece thermally aged maple neck bolts to the body with five ferrules and incorporates Kramer’s KeyLock system, which is designed to reduce neck-pocket movement and improve contact between the neck and body. A contoured heel helps keep the upper frets accessible for lead work and extended-range playing.

Compound-Radius Ebony Fingerboard

The ebony fingerboard has a 10"-14" compound radius, giving lower-position chords a comfortable feel while flattening out higher up the neck for bends, vibrato and fast runs. Twenty-four jumbo frets provide room for technical playing, while mother-of-pearl small diamond inlays add a clean visual detail. A spoke-wheel truss rod adjustment at the body end makes setup tweaks easier when conditions or string gauges change.
