Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I absolutely loved this guitar, until, I went away on vacation for a month and came home to the guitar completely messed up from the changes in humidity. This isn't the issue, so much as the way the guitar is constructed there doesn't seem anyway for me to fix the fret buzz past the 12th fret. When looking down the guitar neck it looks really strange, because apparently the bracing used around this area isn't the same wood as the rest of the guitar so it didn't get affected by humidity like the rest of it. I would say put your money towards something else.

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

It took over 3 months of excuses and back orders. I was past disappointment. Unpacking, I notice on the body/face a obvious line caused by poor workmanship, and the saddle and neck/fret board was raw, unfinished wood.

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

After deliberating on bunch of acoustic electric guitars I settled on this one. Bought it on sale for almost half off. I was unsure originally about the Mitchell name because I didn't know much about them. And the guitar is manufactured in China. But I took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did! This guitar plays and feels amazing! first thing out of the box I noticed is how incredibly light it is. It literally feels like a feather and the construction of it is very high-quality. I plugged it into my 100 watt Marshall amplifier and tried out the Fishman ink Electronics. The guitar sounds amazing plugged in or unplugged. The only flaw if any is the way the buttons are designed on the preamp. I wish they were knobs instead of recessed. But that's just personal preference the functionality of it still is Flawless. And the built-in tuner also works extremely well. I also love the satin finish of it so smooth and beautiful and it does create a more warmer and more natural tone. Overall I'm an experienced guitar player who's been playing for almost 15 years so I know a little bit about guitars and I would definitely recommend this guitar especially for the price it is right now. Is it a Gibson? No. Is it a Martin? No. If you want those you have to pay a hefty price tag. But I'm telling you for the amount of guitar you're getting for this price it cannot be beat.
