Mitchell Launch O100JR Auditorium Junior Acoustic Guitar - Natural

The Mitchell O100JR Auditorium Junior body acoustic guitar combines a compact, comfortable design with the warm tone and responsive feel players expect from a full-featured acoustic. Its smaller body and shorter 22.4" scale make it comfortable to hold and play, while also making fretting and chord changes easier for smaller hands. An all-basswood body delivers a warm, balanced sound, while forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing supports resonance, projection and tonal depth. A Comfort-Fit C-shaped okoume neck, 18:1 high-ratio tuners and a purpleheart bridge add thoughtful, player-focused details. Whether you’re looking for a comfortable everyday acoustic, a travel-ready companion or simply prefer the feel of a more compact instrument, the O100JR delivers an inviting and rewarding playing experience.

Compact Auditorium Junior Body

The O100JR’s compact body balances playing comfort with rich, responsive tone. Its compact footprint and lightweight construction make it comfortable to hold through extended playing sessions, while the shorter scale can make fretting and chord changes easier for smaller hands. Whether playing at home, traveling, songwriting or performing, the compact design offers the comfort and portability of a smaller acoustic without sacrificing musical presence..

Forward-Shifted X-Bracing for Bigger Projection

Forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing allows the top to vibrate freely, supporting a rich, lively sound from the O100JR’s compact body. The result is impressive projection and tonal depth that give this acoustic a voice beyond its size..

Comfort-Fit Neck for Easy Playability

An enjoyable playing experience starts with a guitar that feels natural in your hands. The O100JR features a Comfort-Fit C-shaped okoume neck and short 22.4" scale for a comfortable, responsive playing feel. The shorter scale reduces the reach between frets, while the HPL fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface for chords, melodic lines and everyday practice.

Precise, Player-Focused Hardware

Open-gear chrome tuners with an 18:1 ratio provide fine, precise tuning adjustments, while the purpleheart bridge and compensated synthetic bone saddle support consistent intonation. Combined with its smooth satin finish, these thoughtful details help keep the focus where it belongs: on playing.

An Acoustic Guitar Made to Keep You Playing

Compact, comfortable and responsive, the Mitchell O100JR acoustic guitar is designed for players who prefer the feel and portability of a smaller-bodied instrument. From relaxed playing at home to songwriting sessions and travel, its comfortable dimensions, warm sound and thoughtful features make it an acoustic you’ll want to keep close.
