Schecter Guitar Research MV-6 Electric Guitar Gloss Black

Whether you’re moving between clean rhythm work, driven textures or expressive leads, the Schecter MV-6 electric guitar provides a versatile platform that remains easy to navigate. Three Schecter Diamond 351 pickups and a five-way SuperSwitch place a broad range of tones within quick reach, while the familiar volume and tone layout keeps adjustments straightforward in the middle of a song. Its 25.5" scale, 14" fingerboard radius and 24 X-Jumbo frets provide room for bends, fast runs and higher-register playing. A Thin C wenge neck, Ultra Access construction and two-point tremolo round out an instrument built for players who move between varied musical roles.

Diamond 351 Pickups Expand Tonal Versatility

The MV-6 covers different musical roles without crowding the control layout. Its 3 Diamond 351 pickups and five-way SuperSwitch provide multiple pickup combinations, including series and parallel switching, allowing movement between fuller and more open sounds from a single selector. Rather than managing extra switches, players can make tonal changes using the familiar motion of a traditional five-way pickup selector. That approach keeps the control scheme direct while expanding the range of available voices.

Wenge Neck and Ebony Fingerboard Enhance Playability

When a part moves higher up the neck, the MV-6 is designed to keep the fretting hand moving freely. Its bolt-on wenge neck uses the Schecter Thin C profile and Ultra Access construction to reduce obstruction around the upper frets, while the ebony fingerboard with a 14" radius and 24 X-Jumbo frets provides working room for bends and lead lines. A 1.65" Graph Tech Ivory TUSQ XL nut maintains a compact feel near the first position, and the heel-access spoke-wheel truss rod is easy to reach when the setup needs attention.

Two-Point Tremolo and Locking Tuners Add Expression

Beyond its switching flexibility, the MV-6 adds another layer of expression through a Schecter two-point tremolo with stainless steel saddles. This setup supports vibrato, dips and other pitch effects in chords and lead lines, while Schecter locking tuners simplify restringing and help maintain a stable setup. Finished with chrome hardware against its Metallic Purple body, the Schecter MV-6 electric guitar combines flexible switching, upper-fret access and expressive tremolo performance for players who cover a wide range of musical ground.
