Built with a chambered mahogany body and solid spruce top, it blends natural resonance with the practicality of an electric-style design. The result is a guitar that delivers authentic acoustic sound while resisting feedback under stage lights. Sire's Vividx-A preamp and undersaddle piezo pickup ensure clear and customizable tone control, making the G5A a versatile choice for live performance. With its comfortable playability, thoughtful tonewood pairing and premium appointments, the left-handed G5A makes the acoustic stage experience more accessible than ever.

Chambered Mahogany and Solid Spruce Deliver Balanced Tone

The G5A's body design is centered around resonance and projection. A solid spruce top provides shimmering highs and crisp attack, while the chambered mahogany body fills out the low end with warmth and sustain. The chambered construction not only enhances the tonal blend but also reduces feedback—an essential advantage for amplified acoustic performance. Its satin finish allows the wood to vibrate naturally while reducing weight for comfort over long sessions. Whether used for fingerstyle, strumming or lead passages, the G5A left-handed delivers an articulate and dynamic voice that feels at home both onstage and in the studio.

Smooth-Playing Mahogany Neck and Edgeless Rosewood Fingerboard

The neck of the G5A is designed to feel instantly familiar while remaining exceptionally comfortable. Crafted from mahogany with a C-shaped profile, it offers easy grip and stability across the entire 25.5" scale. The G5A's rosewood fingerboard incorporates Sire's Edgeless rolled edges, giving the neck a smooth, broken-in feel that reduces fatigue. A 16" radius supports a wide range of playing styles, from open chords to fluid solos, while 22 vintage-style frets provide room for expression. Finished with abalone dot inlays and a bone nut, the neck is both visually elegant and tonally supportive, offering reliable resonance and sustain with every note.

Vividx-A Preamp for Clear, Stage-Ready Sound

Equipped with Sire's Vividx-A electronics, the G5A provides the control players need to shape their amplified tone. Its undersaddle piezo pickup captures the guitar's natural acoustic character with precision, while the onboard three-band EQ lets performers fine-tune treble, mids and bass. A dedicated volume control ensures balanced output, and the phase switch offers quick feedback suppression in live environments. The result is a highly adaptable preamp system that works seamlessly in both intimate acoustic sets and full-band performances. With the Vividx-A, you can achieve professional-quality sound without compromising your natural style.

Reliable Sire Hardware With Elegant Vintage Aesthetics

The G5A left-handed combines functional reliability with understated style. Vintage-style open-gear tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability while recalling the look of classic acoustics. The Sire acoustic bridge ensures accurate intonation and sustain across all six strings. Chrome hardware adds durability while maintaining a clean, modern edge. With its smooth satin finish, the G5A showcases the beauty of its tonewoods without the distraction of a pickguard. Every detail is carefully considered, giving left-handed guitarists a reliable and stylish instrument for both live performance and studio recording sessions.
