The Vintage 1998 Larrivée D-03 (part of the renowned 03 Mahogany Recording Series introduced by Jean Larrivée in the late 1990s) is celebrated by players and collectors for offering professional, all-solid-wood Canadian craftsmanship at a more accessible price point.
Handcrafted in North America using the exact same structural standards as Larrivée's high-end luxury lines, the D-03 is a powerful dreadnought designed with a clean, natural aesthetic. It ditches heavy gloss cosmetics in favor of a smooth, resonant natural satin finish that lets the tonewoods breathe and open up freely over time. It features a traditional hand-fit dovetail neck joint for maximum sustain and structural integrity, delivering a balanced, articulate acoustic voice defined by a punchy lower-end and clear, focused midrange.
