I bot these head phones for the turbo bass but theres no bass about these head phones and at any volume they rattle and crack.
For the price, these are good headphones. I got them in the 4 pack with the Art headphone amp, and for the price, (120ish), you can't beat them. They're nothing special, don't fit tight, but they are comfortable headphones perfect for monitoring someone else playing or something. I like them.
I've used a lot of affordable headphones for tracking in the studio, i.e. listening to playback while adding a track. You can't beat these for the money. They have plenty of volume, too. I'm buying more.
Buying this product at such a cheap price and then getting such great quality for the money, it just can not be beat. I have had them for a few months and have been using them for mixing, live play back, and isolation. Con: You should use these headphones in a cool place/studio. My ears start to sweat with the close back option, but that is hard to get over unless you go with an open back, but then you don?t get the mix you would like. All and all great product and would recommend this product to any music loving person!
I bought these headphones about a year ago, and I have never had any trouble with them. I've even dropped them a few times. No problems. They have excellent sound, Although I wouldn't recommend them for mixing. Real producers should not mix with headphones anyway. It's not professional. Otherwise, great pair of headphones. I am going to buy more very soon.
I used them to mix years ago and I had to go back and re-do it because the headphones were so inaccurate. All the mixes were bass heavy because I was compensating for the excessive high end of the headphones. You get what you pay for.
It helps when others expect peace and quiet and at the same time you want fun noise. It gives me a much better sound than my amp offers. It is very comfortable, and the cord allows me to move around without tugging on it.
After doing a lot of online research on headphones in this general price range, I decided on the AKG M70 phones. I needed headphones that would be loud enough to alow a drummer hear the other instruments in a recording session. I also couldn't have too much leakage coming from them so as not to pick it up through the overheads. These headphones have no problem getting loud enough, and are pretty good a preventing leakage. Plus, they are really light and comfortable as well. For $ I can't think of a reason not to get them.
Great pair of headphones, especially for the money. I get compliments on how great they sound all the time (my other heaphones are the Sennheiser HD280's). You can buy four pair of these for the price of 1 of the high end headphones that sound just as good.
