After years of requests, Auratone is introducing the 5C Active Super Sound Cube. It’s the same timeless design with a U.S.-made speaker—now with an integrated amplifier using an enclosure with the dimensions of the passive 5C. The mono amplifier is designed and built in Europe in collaboration with the famous hardware manufacturer Bettermaker. A careful research and development process has been done to maintain the original characteristics of the 5C, utilizing the same amplifier design from the NAMM Tec Award-winning A2-30 amplifier. The 5C, which became famous in the 1970’s and 80’s and has been used in countless major recording studios worldwide, is still an industry standard for referencing—this version takes that renowned quality a step further.
