Proven Peavey reliability and 800W of peak power.

Peavey has leveraged their legendary speaker and amp technology in designing the PVXp DSP 15 in., which delivers a high SPL while simultaneously providing high fidelity and impressive power. With an 800W peak output, this rugged enclosure produces crystal-clear highs and deep low end, while using exclusive DDT compression technology to maintain clarity throughout the mix.

The Peavey PVXp 15 DSP is constructed with a 15 in. heavy-duty, premium Peavey woofer with a 2-3/8 in. voice coil for the lows and low-mids, while the Peavey RX14 1.4 in. titanium diaphragm compression driver, coupled to a constant directivity horn, handles the highs and mid-highs.

Peavey PVX enclosures are housed in a durable, injection-molded enclosure that includes a pole mount, three multi-point flying locations and a tilt-back design to accommodate use as a personal monitor. A black powder-coated steel grille provides driver protection and a clean, professional appearance.

With compact size, solid construction, multiple flying and mounting options, ample power and features, these will be your staple speakers for sound reinforcement.

Comments about Peavey PVXp DSP 15 in. Active Loudspeaker:

Purchased a 14 USB board and 2 PVxp 15 DSP speakers for rehearsal purposes. I am an acoustic instrumentalist for the most part. In other words, my normal volume levels are way below most players normal. I've had this board and speakers now for a little over 3 years. They have NEVER been required to travel nor have they been left in a vehicle for any more time that for a quick relocation of the studio across town. I take exquisite care of any and all of my equipment.

BUT.............. Today, and literally only the second time in three years, did I actually turn the system up to any sort of high volume. Vprffffhooommmfff. The 15 in the exact same speaker as last time just dropped out and QUIT. Dead as a hammer. It did this one time before. The ONLY OTHER TIME that I actually turned it up. It really has me pretty ticked due to the fact that now even my extended warranty has run out. I'm quite ticked actually.

A small, yet needfully useful system to fail so easily. Twice from the same issue. Last time, warranty covered it without to much pain other than the 3 trips to the repair office in heavy Atlanta traffic. Now? I'm dead in the water and will NO BE PRUCHASING ANOTHER Peavey rig anytime soon.

I have used and trusted Peavey equipment for decades. But something has happened in recent past few years. All I know is that Peavey can count me OUT !

Not forgetting to mention that right away, the USB feature on this board I purchased at the same time as speakers has NEVER allowed recording interface with any computer and or software. All you get when you arm the record button is a hideous HIGH PTICHED SQUEAL. I know, I know. I could have had that fixed under warranty and never did. It's just the fact that I needed the system in the rehearsal studio, not the repair shop all the time. I really wasn't all that hot about the USB record feature anyway. I was mostly after the USB feature for playback and backtrackings.

But never the less, the entire system has plagued me.
