The sE T1 cardioid condenser microphone from sE Electronics puts pristine studio-quality sound in a rugged housing designed for life on the road. Featuring the same handcrafted 1" titanium-sputtered capsule as the renowned sE T2, the T1 delivers incredibly fast transient response perfect for capturing drums, percussion, guitar amps and more. For matched stereo pairs, each T1 undergoes rigorous in-house testing and tuning to ensure a balanced, consistent frequency response.
Capture Transients with Titanium
At the heart of the T1 is a handcrafted 1" true condenser capsule sputtered with titanium. Titanium is lighter and stiffer than traditional gold or brass diaphragms, resulting in a transient response so fast and accurate, your drums and percussion will never sound the same. The T1 excels on a wide range of sources that thrive on attack, from shimmering overhead cymbals to an articulate upright bass. It's an ideal cardioid condenser microphone for studio and stage.
Extended Dynamic Range
With integrated pad and low-cut filter switches, the T1 easily handles everything from subtle acoustic instruments to screaming electric guitars. The -10dB pad tames loud sources and prevents clipping, while the low-cut filter at 80Hz removes rumble, footfalls or proximity effect from close miking. This provides the extended dynamic range needed to capture clean, focused sound right at the source.
