Sontronics pairs its purpose-built DM-series drum mics with a matched STC-1S stereo overhead pair in the DrumPack Plus, creating a coordinated seven-piece set for full-kit recording and live sound. DM-Series Close Mics for Kick, Snare and Toms

The DM-1B uses a large-diaphragm end-fire design with 20Hz–20kHz response and a -15dB pad, handling up to 155dB SPL with the pad engaged for kick drum and other high-level low-frequency sources. The DM-1S and three DM-1T microphones use compact small-diaphragm designs with 30Hz–20kHz response and -10dB pads, handling up to 135dB SPL with the pads engaged. Together, the five DM-series microphones give kick, snare and multiple tom positions their own purpose-built close-mic channels.

Matched STC-1S Pair for Stereo Overheads

Two STC-1S pencil condensers add a matched stereo pair for overhead capture, extending the kit beyond dedicated close miking to include cymbals and the overall drum kit. Each STC-1S covers 25Hz–20kHz and provides 0dB, -10dB and -20dB pad settings along with linear, 75Hz and 150Hz filter options. The cardioid pair is rated to 137dB maximum SPL, providing flexible controls for stereo overhead placement.
