SoundSwitch Control One Professional Lighting Interface

Lighting can remain part of the performance without being confined to a mouse or touchscreen. The SoundSwitch Control One is a dedicated hardware controller for SoundSwitch lighting software, placing fixture movement, color changes, Autoloops, Static Looks and strobes under tactile control. Its one-to-one mapped controls work alongside automated and scripted lighting displays, giving DJs and lighting operators a hands-on way to shape a show as it develops. With two DMX universe outputs and two incoming DMX universes, Control One supports larger lighting configurations while connecting audio, effects and fixture control within the same performance workflow.

Tactile Controls for Live Lighting Changes

Control One brings key SoundSwitch functions out of the software interface and into a dedicated lighting controller. Its mapped hardware controls let an operator manage fixture movement, color, strobe effects, Autoloops and Static Looks while a set is in progress, working in tandem with the lighting displays created in SoundSwitch. In Standalone Mode, the controller can manage lighting effects for DJs, artists and presenters outside a connected DJ workflow. A Tap button and OLED display provide real-time BPM feedback, helping operators establish and monitor tempo when controlling lights independently.

Expanded Compatibility Across DJ Platforms

SoundSwitch 2.11 expands the workflows available to Control One users. In addition to Engine DJ, Serato DJ Pro and VirtualDJ, the software now supports rekordbox plus compatible AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ hardware using PRO DJ LINK Bridge. This broader platform support allows DJs to use the same lighting-control workflow alongside their preferred performance software and compatible hardware. Control One can also connect directly to Engine DJ hardware for a standalone audio and lighting setup, while Ableton Link, MIDI Clock and MIDI Timecode support additional synchronization approaches.

Custom and Automated Show Building Options

SoundSwitch desktop software supports both detailed programming and faster automated workflows. In Edit Mode, DJs and lighting designers can work in the Digital Lighting Workstation to modify preset scenes or create custom lighting displays around a performance. Autoloops provide lighting scenes for audio that does not have a scripted show, while AutoScripting can batch-analyze tracks, playlists, collections and crates for automated light show creation. For DJs and lighting operators who need hands-on control alongside flexible software tools, the SoundSwitch Control One provides a unified lighting workflow.
