The high-grade aluminum chassis provides a durable foundation, while figured maple wood earcups lend the design a distinctive appearance. Premium leather earpads surround the ears for comfortable listening during extended sessions. Consumer playback models include premium SUV sound systems, an electric car, Mike Dean's car, nightclub systems, a boombox and cellphone speakers, helping users evaluate tonal balance and identify potential translation issues before delivering a finished mix. Modeled studio and consumer headphones offer further reference points, while specialized environments such as Human Linear and the Audiophile Room expand the available listening perspectives. Multiple speaker choices within supported rooms, global output speaker EQ and calibration settings provide flexibility for personalizing the monitoring experience. The Platinum package also includes future VSX modeled spaces at no additional cost, extending the available library as new environments are introduced.
