The Wolff Audio ProPatch 32R software-controlled analog patchbay gives personal studios, hybrid rigs, mobile recording systems and focused production rooms the same relay-based routing concept as larger ProPatch systems in a smaller 32-point format. Its 16 x 16 I/O configuration provides enough routing flexibility for mastering inserts, re-amping chains, outboard processing, mic lines and dedicated studio zones, while the passive balanced signal path keeps audio free from active electronics, buffers, amplifiers, added noise or tonal change.
Software Recall Without Manual Repatching
The ProPatch 32R allows routing to be built and managed in software, letting users save presets, recall sessions instantly, build signal chains, set up mults and compare processors without touching a cable. For smaller studios where one rack of hardware may handle many jobs, this makes analog routing faster, cleaner and easier to repeat.
Relay-Based Transparency
Wolff Audio designed the ProPatch 32R to route audio without affecting it. The proprietary relay-based architecture creates direct analog connections with straight-wire transparency and no active electronics in the signal path. It supports mic, line, phantom power, control voltage, MIDI and timecode, giving engineers broad routing flexibility while preserving the character of the connected gear.
Scalable 1U Studio Control
The ProPatch 32R fits into a compact, fanless 1U chassis with no heat-generating fan noise, making it easy to add to personal studios, mobile rigs and hybrid production setups. Latching relay design keeps routing states intact if power is lost, and the system can scale with other ProPatch units as channel counts grow.
