The Wolff Audio ProPatch 64R software-controlled analog patchbay brings ProPatch routing control to professional project studios, hybrid production rooms, mix suites and outboard-heavy tracking setups. With 64 patch points in a 32 x 32 I/O configuration, it gives engineers a recallable routing hub for analog hardware without forcing signal through active electronics. Wolff Audio’s proprietary relay switching architecture maintains a passive, fully balanced signal path that supports mic, line, phantom power, MIDI, control voltage and timecode while preserving the tone, impedance behavior and dynamic response of connected equipment.
Recallable Routing for Hybrid Studios
The ProPatch 64R lets engineers configure complex analog chains from software, recall session routing, compare processors instantly and build parallel paths without physically moving patch cables. This is especially useful in hybrid studios where compressors, EQs, mic preamps, synths, interfaces and converters need to be rearranged quickly from session to session.
Passive Relay Switching With No Coloration
Rather than using active routing electronics, the ProPatch 64R makes direct balanced connections through relay-based passive switching. There are no buffers or amplifiers in the signal path, so routing decisions do not alter tone, noise floor, impedance or transient response. The result is the workflow speed of digital control with the transparency expected from a traditional analog patchbay.
Expandable 1U Architecture
The ProPatch 64R fits into a fanless 1U rackmount chassis and integrates with existing TT patchbays, outboard racks and hybrid analog/digital systems.
