The Xvive AT-2 Audio Tester Pro is a compact audio diagnostic tool designed to quickly verify signal flow, XLR cable continuity, phantom power and monitoring paths in live sound, studio, rehearsal and installed audio environments. Its onboard 1kHz sine wave and pink-noise generator sends test signals through male XLR, 1/4" and 1/8" outputs, with selectable -10 dB, -20 dB and -40 dB output levels for compatibility across a wide range of audio equipment. XLR cable testing, XLR input metering, phantom power detection and built-in speaker/headphone monitoring make the AT-2 a practical utility for troubleshooting mixers, powered speakers, DI boxes, effect pedals, IEM systems and other essential gear. Signal Generation, Cable Testing and Input Metering
The AT-2 outputs either a 1kHz sine wave or pink noise, giving technicians and musicians two practical signal sources for diagnosing audio systems. The 1kHz tone quickly confirms whether a signal is reaching a channel, speaker, pedal, DI or wireless system, while pink noise is useful for evaluating overall speaker performance and signal distribution. The built-in XLR cable tester verifies whether pins 1, 2 and 3 are properly connected, while XLR input metering uses SG and PK indicators to display signal presence and peak status at a glance.
Phantom Power Detection and Audio Monitoring
The phantom power check measures voltage on XLR pins 2 and 3, providing a simple way to verify whether a mixer, interface or preamp is supplying phantom power correctly. A solid LED indicates 44V–52V, while a flashing LED indicates 24V–44V. Audio connected to the female XLR or 1/4" input can be monitored through the AT-2's built-in speaker or 1/8" headphone output, with a dedicated volume knob controlling monitoring level.
USB-C Charging for Portable Troubleshooting
The AT-2 charges via USB-C using a 5V/2A USB power supply, with a full charge taking approximately 1.5 hours. The 1kHz/Pink Noise button blinks when battery level drops below 10%, providing a clear warning before the tester powers down.
