As a Cellist going to college in Dallas TX....I just bought this case since I am using Public Transit... I was also worried about people running into my cello all the time. I got this case and Yes you have to figure out which latch to close 1st. Mine is lower right then left side lol. It looks to be a good case. I also play guitar and steel pan and have had many cases in my musical career. The wheels are huge a plus since I do not have to carry it everywhere. I like the fact that it holds both my carbon fiber and back up bow. The small pouch holds my rosin, cloth to wipe my cello and extra strings which is nice. I would have given it a 5 but having to fight with 1 latch to get it to close was not what I expected. If you are on a tight budget and need a case in a pinch I would recommend this one.
I just did not have 400.00 for the fiberglass case I was really wanting
I hope this helps those reading this and needing to making a decision.

This case is fine, though there certainly are much better. I've owned many BAM cases, which are considerably lighter, more durable, and less bulky. However this case does its job. There are no music pouches, no suspension, and the interior feels cheap, but it does its job. I would recommend something else for any expensive cello.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
This case is very good buy. You can't find any hard case offering this much for this price. The latches are ok; you may have to struggle with them a bit, but you will get used to it. The interior is a little cheap, but it's still plush and will be sufficient enough to keep the cello safe. This case is certainly much heavier than a nice carbon fiber or titanium (Kevlar) case, weighing in at 19 pounds. But wheels are included, thankfully. This case is certainly a great buy for an intermediate to advanced cellist. It does it's job: keeping the cello safe. It's certainly not as tough as a Kevlar, bulletproof case, but as long as you don't run over it, drop if off a skyscraper, or chop it repeatedly with an axe, this case does its job fine.Note: This case includes a few small accessory pouches, but there is no place for the music/binder. To remedy this, simply attach a small pouch/bag to the interior of the cover.

Thanks Musicians' Friends for have available truly great deals. I have four musicians kids and I don't have to much money to spent on all the stuff that they need, but I don't want to sacrifice quality. I thank God that I found you. This cello hard case is a perfect combination in quality vs good price.
Thanks!!!

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
Hinges seem a little fragile, as in don't stress them by using force. Interior is soft and cushiony, but feels low quality. The metal rim and locks also seem like they could bend or break fairly easily if bumped hard. The case could use another handle on the front face. The back pack straps are adequate, though I don't anticipate using them. Wheels are okay with a good handle for wheeling around. The case can stand upright or on the side when closed. To remove the cello you must lay the case down. Definitely an upgrade from canvas case, but a little pricey for the quality (or lack of).
Pros
- Good Value
Cons
- Somewhat Flimsy
Best Uses

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
Hinges are a little flimsy. It takes some patience to get all the clasps lined up and closed. The position of the handle for pulling the case is awkward, but doable. It is noisy when being pulled and tends to flip when going over bumps - but once you know this you can deal with it. All this being said. I'd buy it again. It protects my cello and I can deal with the negatives. Love the price!

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
I needed a hard case to transport my cello to a relative several states away. But I didn't want to spend a lot since I didn't know if the recipient would want something different. This case was perfect! Solid and well made, no gaps. Looks great and is not heavy. Two handles (one on neck and one on the body), wheels, straps to carry as a backpack. Stands upright or lies on back or side. Much nicer than I expected.
Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
For daughter, now a high school student. Had 1 Bella in 6th grade took a beating into 9th grade and kept a nice mid-level Strunal safe and babied. It regularly rolled home on city streets & sidewalk for 4 years(almost a mile one way) and the wheels never came off or broke. the pull handle stayed secure as well. She was rough with it. Broke one lock by side carry handle so carrying is by the handle warped the aluminum rim.
Christmas got a fancier-sleek one (not another Bella), not too pricey but all new and sophisticated looking: it didn't have the padding or the space and her bridge snapped while inside the case; and the handle broke twice in 4 months; and her instrument has a rub mark from the bow because of the tighter space. New fancy case from Santa not good.
4+ years of Bell kept her instrument in perfect condition.
Daughter asked for another Bell even though it is heavier. This is our second Bell cello case. We are very happy with the love and care Bell gives her Strunal!
Note: I picked a Strunal for her after online research; really went in blind for deciding on a cello. Her Strunal instrument has a marked superior sound over all the cello she has played next to. A teacher has named the cello Forte because of it's volume and beautiful tone. If you are debating on cello purchase look into Strunal, you will not be disappointed. I firmly believe the excellence of her cello has aided her ability to play so well.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
When putting out money on a quality instrument, you want to be sure the instrument is protected; especially when travelling and even when sitting around the house to keep it from getting knocked over or something dropped/spilled on it. This case serves the purpose on all levels. Solid enough that tossing into the back of the vehicle I don't have to worry about something sliding into it and damaging my baby. Enough room inside to easily keep 2 bows, plus a small bag with rosin and a dusting cloth.
I don't know what the others were complainng about with the fastening of the case as I have had no issues. Handle and rollers are sturdy.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
This case is actually better than I was expecting when I ordered it. I was very pleased with the product and it was exactly what I was looking for. The case is not bulky yet it is sturdy. It is great for travel as well as an awesome case for everyday use. It is a great case for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
My cello fits but can wobble around inside. The padding seems lacking. I'm using rolled cotton t-shirt fabric to block the wobbles. The top and bottom are held together with 2 hinges that aren't very strong. I carefully open and close. I guess after the hinges break I can just put the pieces on with the large number of closers. Why not more or stronger hinges? I think a child would break the hinges quickly.
Still better than a padded soft case.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
I was super concerned considering the condition of the packaging when it arrived, but the case appears to be in great shape and undamaged. Beautiful inside and not to heavy. Cello fits perfectly and snug. Two bow storage spots and area to store your rosin, cloth and smaller items. However, no music sheet storage area, but will work on making a sleeve for it.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
Bought this case for my daughter's cello in hopes of extra protection compared to her soft case. Not only is it extremely cumbersome (unnecessarily has way too many clasps) it is extremely heavy. I wouldn't mind the weight of the case if it actually protected the cello. Within the first week, the cello case was knocked over and the head completely snapped off. After dealing with costly repairs - due to a poorly constructed case that didn't provide any real protection - I'm kicking myself for buying such a cheap product.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
Purchased for my son's 3/4 Cello. The instrument fits well and seems to be made well. The first case I received had a manufacturer defect: the case would not seal all the way around-had a large gap. I called, was given a return label and they sent a new one out quickly. The second case had no flaws. Wife spent a lot of money on the Cello, so I wanted a hard ABS case to help protect it.

Comments about Bellafina ABS Cello Case with Wheels:
Well made and sturdy. Very heavy duty, good clasps and nice interior. Heavier than anticipated but very well made. My one improvement would be something to clip the straps to for when you go from backpack carrying to wheeling it. The straps drag on the ground.
