OVERVIEW

An updated pedal from DW offering multiple patented designs, epic flexibility and an incredibly smooth feel.

The flagship of the DW pedal line-up, the DW 9000 Single Pedal features multiple patented innovations such as a free-floating rotor-drive system, rotating swivel spring and infinitely adjustable cam allowing a more direct transfer of energy that optimizes the stroke for more power and precision. The speed and fluidity of the 9000 series pedals is due to a multi-bearing system that reduces friction and improves feel.

The Infinite Adjustable Cam featured on DW 9000 Series Pedals allows the pedal to be easily set from Accelerator to Turbo Drive or anywhere in between. A patented Floating Swivel Spring system increases efficiency on the down stroke and return stroke, while a state-of-the-art Ball Bearing Hinge design delivers fluid footboard action. The pedal is chain-driven, but to cater to preferences, 9000 Series Bass Drum Pedals also include a Nylon Strap for easy conversion.

A Dual Adjustable Toe Clamp ensures the pedal and drum stay connected to any kick drum hoop. DW machines its Precision Universal assemblies in-house from aircraft-grade aluminum to meet strict tolerances. All 9000 pedals come with a convenient Clip & Drum Key.

The result is a pedal with smooth, effortless action.

9000 Single Pedals come with an easy-travel, soft Nylon Bag.

Pricey but worth it.

Comments about DW 9000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal:

At this price point you open up alot of pedals. The "longboard" direct drive pedals have really taken over. However, the 9000 is the smoothest, most powerful pedal I have ever played. Speed? Yeah they're fast as hell. I have used Axis longboards, Tama Iron Cobra and Speed Cobra's & this really is the better pedal in my opinion. It's beefy design looks awesome attached to your bass drum. It's very sensitive, triples and doubles are a sinch. I sometimes use the "swivel" technique for double bass fills and the foot board is the perfect size for this. I also wear a size 12 shoe. I play two bass drums and I'm punishing them with these pedals. If you're looking at high end pedals give these a try, you will be impressed.

Comments about DW 9000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal:

I have used this pedal at my church for the past two years and loved every minute of it!! it's sooo smooth that when you first start to use it, it takes a little getting used, but once mastered, you can do anything with it!..I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their foot-speed...And if you buy this you may never want to buy a double-kick pedal...it's that good!

Comments about DW 9000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal:

Date for this write up . 04-23-16. My DW 9000 needs to move aside. Cause after putting my foot on the Tama HP900RP. It felt so much more smoother and responsive with less fatigue on my right foot. Also noticed my foot is more precise with the Tama. Playing 7 stroke in 32 nd note @ 114 bpm. As for the new DW petals. The one that looks like a rector set. It's like DW grabs a little from Axis, Trick, and their 9000 to combine a new Bass drum pedal. It's real tip heavy, you'd have to play it. Anyways the Tama HP900RP is a real nice pedal

Comments about DW 9000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal:

Yo this pedal it butterrrr. You almost have to get use to it and adjust. That might be a turn off for some people, but that was just me playing it straight out the box. Im coming from Dw5000 and a couple people have said they felt that they lost power, but I haven't really felt that. I can understand it i guess because the smoothness is just that real! The quality it great. There are a lot of adjustments but im scared im gonna mess something up so i just left it alone lol! And you should only get it when its apart of a musicians friends sale!!!!!!!!

Comments about DW 9000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal:

I bought the DW9000 pedal to replace my Iron Cobra and Yamaha Pro bass drum pedals. The action is smooth and fast. The foot board seems smaller than the Tama Iron Cobra, but overall, it's a great pedal.
