Comments about Ernie Ball 2150 Earthwood Phosphor Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I put these on my old Seagull S6+ Folk with a cedar top. They sound bright and sparkly. I don't know if they'll outlast the Cleartones I have enjoyed using on this guitar, but I like how they sound and feel. I'd use them again.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2150 Earthwood Phosphor Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I am new to guitar, so my fingers are still tender. I started with EB extra light 80/20. I like extra light because they are much easier on the fingers. This is my first time trying phosphor bronze and so far I really like the feel and sound. They are just a little more subtle than 80/20's.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2150 Earthwood Phosphor Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I prefer thinner strings for bends, even on acoustics. I'm not talking David Gilmour type bends. Just a simple 1/2 step bend is a must. B string broke in first 10 minutes of playing. Obviously too thin for my playing style.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2150 Earthwood Phosphor Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I like these string. They sounded too bright and brassy when I first put them on but after a few days that seemed to diminish. I noticed they have a soft feel under my fingers. I like that. I usually use D'Addario EJ15 Phosphor Bronze strings (same string diameters for all but the E-6th string) and wanted to try something new. Glad I did. I will probably go back to the D'Addario's for my next string change but may put these on again to verify my initial impressions.
