I'm am totaly hooked on these strings! I've been playing since the early 70's and have tried a very large number of string brands and types. These have a very balanced musical sound to them. You can hear each note clearly. They typicaly last me over a month and I play a lot everyday. Try them I really think you'll hear the difference.

There's no doubt that these strings have a great sound, not sure about the life or if they break easy or not being aluminum because I am taking them off my T5 tomorrow. What I sincerely don't like is that a heavy black stain comes off of them onto your fingers and hands. I have trouble getting the stuff off even with Lava soap. While I like the sound and clarity of these strings, I am taking them off in favor of DiAdarrio's Nickle Bronze or Ernie Ball Paradigm strings, both of which I just love everything about.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
Installed a set of these just after Memorial Day and have purposely neglected them. I haven't cleaned them nor sheltered from summer's humidity. I wanted to see if they were all that EB claimed
To my surprise and satisfaction, they retained much of that new string jangle for over 2 weeks and then settled into being a great sounding set of strings. Its now mid-August and the strings still sound good and I have no plans to change them.
EB advertises that these strings "more projection and clarity than traditional bronze strings". These strings deliver on this, bringing more volume and great clarity to the individual notes

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I put these on my Ovation Balladeer and got the same playability and brighter tone than the Elixer extra lights I was using. They hold tuning well, even in varying temperatures. Don't know about the life, have been playing them less than 2 weeks.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
These aluminum bronze strings have a similar feel as the folk silk and steel style;;but, maintain the clarity and brightness of regular bronze strings.. They facilitate fingering both complex chord structures and single string leads, They allow one to comfortably play and practice for extended periods.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I'm not convinced they live up to the hype. They aren't bad, don't get me wrong. They do what they do just fine, but I didn't really notice a boost in volume and they do sound a little "tinny" to me. Anyway, I'll buy em again. I want to put a set on my Dobro Hound Dog and see what happens. Right now I have them on my Gretsch Jim Dandy. So my point is, don't be afraid to try them! They're cool, just not "magicool". : )

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
Always being on the look out for good strings, I tried these. The set was put on a 1996 Takamine EF341. WOW, WOW! First off the balance between highs and lows were like I have never heard. The low and high E strings rang out equally while everything else came through. Acousticly and electrically the strings responded to my playing style of soft and hard strumming. After hard playing of a three hour show, there was very little change in sound and response. These just may be my new go to strings. I also like that the strings are USA made!

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
The new aluminum bronze strings sound surprisingly good on my Gibson J-185 EC Rosewood. They do sound brighter and louder than the D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings I usually use, but I wouldn't say "better." The new strings succeed in producing a brighter, louder sound without sounding tinny.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I've only had these on for a month on my Breedlove D25/SRe acoustic/electric. WOW, what a sound. The sound that these strings put out is amazing, when I play I can hear slight harmonics in the background, if you know what I mean. I am very impressed with them. Really can't say enough. They make want to play more.
If your looking for a set of strings that ring, then these are the ones your looking for. AWESOME !!!

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I'm always looking for "my" strings... after removing some Elixir nanoweb lights and putting these on my Taylor 224ce-K DLX, its like a dream to play, great tone that makes me just want to keep on playing... the bottom end isn't as strong as the Elixirs, but it's not bad, smooth across the strings. I didn't notice any more projection, but I figured that was marketing woo anyhow and wasn't looking for that. For more projection just increase the gage and go to mediums or larger... They seems much more evenly balanced for this guitar than the $Elixirs. I'd say they are well worth a shot if you haven't found strings that suit you... I'll be buying these for awhile I think. The one minor difference I did notice from the Elixirs, other than a little less bottom end punch, is the EB strings grab your fingers more making sliding a little more difficult, but this helps plant your fingers for cleaner notes, so I guess it's give and take, can't have it all... Overall I'd say they are top notch stuff equal to or better than anything out there.

This is my first set of these stings I bought a set to go with my new Ovation acoustic. They sound very good to me and have a good feel. I have had them on for about a month and they still sound good.. I will be buying more of these soon. The bottom line Aluminum Bronze are great strings.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
New Cedar-topped guitar with a muted tone, that I wanted to increase the voice. These strings did the trick, though I don't know if a set 80/20 bronze-steel wouyld have done the same. That said, these did what I wanted.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I've found that just because a brand of strings sounds good on one guitar, doesn't mean they will sound as good on other guitars. That said, I was never able to get my Martin Jorma Kaukonen M30 to sound as great as I thought it should sound- until I tried these strings. Wonderful tone and nice feel. Nothing else will go on this guitar. The way this guitar is playing, it's become my absolute favorite. These strings are definitely worth a try.
