i just put this one my musicman sub1 a couple hours ago ... i tuned it once and just started rocking out. the strings i had on previously were .11's (ernie ball i think) and now i'm using these (.10's) and bending like no tomorrow.between the extreme bends i was pulling off and my heavy tremolo use, these strings held tuning surprisingly well. i did not stretch them ahead of time either, so the tuning was slightly off, but not as bad as a normal set of strings.another plus is having locking tuners, but if you know how to properly string a guitar you should not have any trouble!anyways, i'm hooked for life on these babies. great feel, tone, and stability. go fender!!! :)

After starting to get better at guitar, I made up a little explosion riff. Sadly, two of my strings snapped while playing it. I was not even abusing the strings, just picking slightly harder than normal causes them to break. I switched to some thick, heavy GHS Boomers and have not had a problem. These strings also come out of tune very quickly and are hard to put back in tune.

I've used super bullets for years and are my string of choice. They stay in tune, resist breakage and sound great! Recommended for fulcrum trem guitars.

My Yamaha strings lasted longer

By someone disappointed

from Somewhere, CA

I had Yamaha super light strings on my guitar I never changed them for a year they were still good after a year not one had snapped but I decided to go up some gauges and try Fender out, those Fender strings only lasted a month and all did was change the strings I didnt mess with anything else so it comes down to the strings fault

Very good strings. For a guy with a Fender Stratocaster, you NEED these strings. They fit well and keep their tone.

Horrible Strings

By Anonymous

In the matter of one week I broke the E B and A strings. I replaced them with D'Adarios, a much better choice. Horribly manufactured, the A string should not break in a week!

Way better than Ernie Ball

So, these strings came on the strat I recently bought, but I decided to put some Ernie Ball Extra Slinkies on it. Well, the high e string on the ernie balls broke after about 5 minutes of playing, and the end actually stuck in my face. Definately going back to these, I didn't have any problems with them whatsoever.

These were the only strings I got for a while after I got my first electric. They really do sound okay, but they are definitely not the highest quality. I do agree with others in saying that the bullet end is really and it would make sense for the end of the string to be that shape, but it is not really needed. D'addarios makes way better strings though, and I'm not just talking about the expensive coated ones, the cheap ones are amazingly stable and last longer too. If you try these strings and like them then thats cool, but they are crap compared to the D'addarios.

Genuine Strat Strings

I use these on all of my strats. I've tried other brands. Ernie Ball, Boomers, etc., but after experimenting, I came back to Fender. I use a lot of bending so I prefer the 10 up weight as opposed to the .009. The lighter weight strings will bend easier, but they will tend to stretch out of tune a little bit quicker, and naturally, they will tend to break more frequently. I recommend these.

The best

I own an American Deluxe Strat, and these are the best strings I've used on this guitar. I've heard so many players say these strings are terrible, but I don't know why. Super slinkys, and the other stuff simply does not have the tone these things have, plus, I've found they stay in tune better than the other brands, probably due to the bullet end being soldered onto the string instead of the traditional winding.

Pretty good

These strings i've had really not that much problem with, I guess I just play to hard on these strings that they break within weeks. Other then that they are great strings, its probably just me with the string breaking problem.

Crap!!!

By Aflak

from Lansing, Michigan

These are the worst strings i have ever played on. they never stay tuned, and every time i use my wammey bar the strings immideatly go flat. i cant even bend the strings because they go flat so fast. i do not reccomend these strings for any one that plays.

Pretty Good

By Josh-Xwbde

I really like the sound of these strings, i use them on my fender strat. The thing I don't like about them thought is they seem to get dirty or wear out fast, even though I wipe them down after play. I only put the things on about a month ago, and now the G string is pitch black.

Good for Strats.. nothin' else.

I use these babies on my '04 American Strat. They have a bright, clean tone, and can take heavy bending and vibrato abuse. That being said, these strings sound great on fender's.. I've tried usin' Super Bullets on a Epi SG and Ibanez Prestige, and these strings sound really weak, kinda like flatwound jazz strings. Not really sure why, but these strings sound best on a fender.

Good strings

First of all, guys, I change string every week when I am playing regularly. Sunday afternoon is new string time. NO string I even played is going sound good after weeks/months/year. So I would discount those whould complain they don't sound good after a month. To be honest, they sound about the same as the similar Ernie Ball product (pure nickel), but I like the way the bullet fits in the Tele ferrules.

The only string for a Strat.

By Mr.Fancy

from Nebraska

The Super Bullet 10s are the ONLY string I will use on my USA strat. I used to use Ernie Ball Reg. Slinkys. IN FACT, the Super Bullets have about the same tone & feel as the Ernie Ball with much better tuning stability. (Especially when you rock the whammy bar as much as I do) If you're breaking a lot of strings, perhaps you should try adjusting the action or switching to a lighter pick. And guys, real gigging musicians change their strings AT LEAST twice a month.
