The problem with most wall-wart adapters is that they aren't regulated, some straying up to 13 volts or so, causing hum and horrible tone-enter the Fulltone FPS-1 (200 mA.) regulated adapter. It's dead quiet and exactly 9 volts no matter what your wall AC is putting out. This adapter has the standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm end with a negative center pin and will work with most effects pedal from BOSS, Ibanez, and other pedals from Fulltone that include the FD2, OCD, Bassdrive, UltOct, '70, and CF-1.
- Adapter maintains a consistent 9V
- Negative center pin
- Compatible with the FD2, OCD, Bassdrive, UltOct, '70, CF-1, and other guitar pedals

Comments about Fulltone FPS-1 Negative Center Pin 9V AC Adapter:
I had purchased an Akai Analog Delay and needed a power supply for it. This unit powers it without any noise just as a battery would. It is exactly what I needed to replace the use of batteries.

Comments about Fulltone FPS-1 Negative Center Pin 9V AC Adapter:
Call me "petty", or call me "frugal" which ever you like...but the 4 stars (instead of 5) is because Fulltone obviously know they have great products, therefore they don't offer any discounts or deals. Hence the contradiction between "Good Value" in 'Pros' and "No Offered Discounts" in 'Cons'. But that is just me.
The adapter is worth every penny I paid for it.
It makes absolutely no noise what-so-ever when used on effects pedals through tube or solid state amps.
I got one for my Fender Chorus effects pedal, and have been using it since Christmas. I have just recently purchased another to go with my Fender Delay effects pedal that is on it's way to my house now.
If I get another pedal in the future (that requires inside negative pin connection) this is the ONLY adapter I will even consider.
I don't use 9 volt batteries...they die too quick, and can corrode & destroy expensive equipment....so Fulltone gets my vote and coin.
This product DOES deserve 5 stars, no doubt. The 4 stars is just me and my stubbornness.
Buy as many of these as you need, because they are absolutely top of the line in noiseless AC Adapters.

Comments about Fulltone FPS-1 Negative Center Pin 9V AC Adapter:
I have a Fulltone GT500 pedal that is very finicky in terms of power supply other than a 9V battery! It does not like most power supplies I've tried such as the Boss PSA, Rolaand and even the venerable One-Spot. After talking to the folks at Fulltone, I found this for about 1/3 less the price Fulltone was charging at their online store. In simple terms......it works and does it well. Bad part is that I don't like stringing extra wall-warts when pedaling up while gigging out, but if I keep the GT500 on the board that is what I will have to do.
