Comments about GHS Boomers Long Scale Plus Lite Bass Guitar Strings:
These are great strings, very bright, yet still retain great lows with the guage being so thin. Amazing strings for funk, and just about everything else. Last as long as bass strings should, nothing special in that category, which is the only thing keeping these from being a 5, but otherwise these are my regular strings now!
Comments about GHS Boomers Long Scale Plus Lite Bass Guitar Strings:
these strings are terrible... i broke one of my strings on my bass yesterday... i had ernie ball power slinkys on it. and i put these strings on today and they are very twangy. i play alot of slap and i would not suggest these at all
Comments about GHS Boomers Long Scale Plus Lite Bass Guitar Strings:
I usually play Ernie Ball Super Slinkys on my bass, I like them alot, but I could never get it light enough. Heavy strings sound too boomy and are hard to play in my opinion. These strings are low in price, high in sound and can sound fresh every day. I've had them on since May and two months later they still sound good, especially on my Jazz Bass 24. They did not fit on my Geddy Lee though, since it's 33" scale (I have trouble finding strings for it...)They're excellent for slapping and only mellowed just a tad. If you're looking for a fat greasy tone, DO NOT get these. If you like to slap or to stand out in the mix, these are perfect. These things are crisper than fresh dollar bills.
