Comments about GHS Stainless Steel 5-String Banjo Strings - Almost Medium:

Great product. The #.5 gauge strings have been hard to find as single replacements, but I shouldn't be breaking any, so let's not blame GHS! Consistent quality, easy to string up and break in. Bravo, GHS!

Comments about GHS Stainless Steel 5-String Banjo Strings - Almost Medium:

I've been using GHS for 25 years and the product itself is exceptional. I purchased 2 sets and in one of the two my 2nd string was a ball end string rather than a loop end, I've never had this to happen. I've written to the supplier and have not yet heard anything back. I'm sure this was not an intentional occurrence but I would like it resolved.

Comments about GHS Stainless Steel 5-String Banjo Strings - Almost Medium:

Years ago I jumped from one string maker to an other and I always ended up going back to GHS strings. GHS banjo strings just simply out performed all the others; and I've just stuck with GHS sense.

Comments about GHS Stainless Steel 5-String Banjo Strings - Almost Medium:

I went from regular lights to these and use them on my OB and resonator banjos. For me they have the right feel and tone. They keep sounding good long after the calendar says change them. I'll keep buying these.
