I got this bag when I was in middle school and have used it on a regular basis since. I have now graduated college and play gigs on a regular basis. This bag has been my only stick bag for 13 years and counting. One of the best features on it is the adjustable shoulder strap. This is especially nice for a gigging drummer as there is always a lot of gear to haul in for shows.

The exterior pockets are great. There is a pocket big enough for a binder for music on the front, as well as a smaller sleeve. On the back, there is a pocket that could fit a cowbell, plenty of drum keys, hackey sack, drink, etc.

The interior is huge--I usually keep 4 to 6 pair of sticks in it, along with mallets, bass drum mallets, marching sticks, brushes, and rods. There is room to spare. I don't use the interior pocket much, but I keep spare snare wire, tension rods, cymbal felts, etc in there.

I am just now getting around to writing the review because it just dawned on me how long this bag had been used. I have never had any issues with its durability, and just this past month I noticed a crack in the material on the shoulder strap. This is a great product that will withstand the test of time.

I used this bag A LOT in the year that I've had it. Good features and a good size, not huge but big enough for a lot of stuff. I utilized all the pockets and I know how to take care of my stuff. Anyways one of the straps broke off the bag (which happens with the vic firth bags too) and the zippers are NOT I REPEAT NOT SELF repairing. Both the stitching on my sheet music pocket came out and my MAIN zipper just broke. It didn't just fall off, the zipper itself is popping off the fabric (the metal pieces are bending and breaking off). I've never seen anything like it. But it's pretty much the industry standard of bags this and the vic firth. If you play weekends it should hold up but if you travel everyday and have it filled good luck. You will definitely break off one of the shoulder straps and good luck with the zippers. It also fills up pretty quick. I would invest in more as I should've done. My colleagues have had better luck with the vic firth (even though similar problems but just take longer to occur) and IP. Also Tuxedo makes a great bag! Hope this helps those looking for a upgrade!

Comments about Kaces Not Leather Deluxe Stick Bag:

Overall, it's a sturdy stick bag that can hold a good amount of sticks, mallets, brushes, practice pads and what not. I love the many different pockets that it has, and it just looks good!

My only issue is the zippers. My last bag, which was a Protec Deluxe, freaked out on me as far as the main zipper went. This Kaces bag has freaked out a couple times, where I would zip it all the way up, and then the teeth would come apart. LAME. So I found that you just had to zip it up slowly and then it would be fine. So anyway, I would highly recommend people buying such a professional looking piece of gear, A quality stick bag should be a staple for every drummer, and this bag fulfills those requirements to the max.

Boy oh boy is this thing hefty. I bought this so I could consolidate all the junk I'd been carrying around in two bags, but turns out I didn't have enough stuff to fill this bag! It has plenty of room for everything you'll need. It's great for lugging around lesson books, cowbells, drum keys, whatever. Great product, holds up real well, what else is there to say. I'd buy one if I were you.

Comments about Kaces Not Leather Deluxe Stick Bag:

This is an extremely well built and designed stick bag. I am very impressed with the quality material used in this. the only exception is that one of my knots holding the tom mount came undone and I lost the little clip. That was okay because I never planned on mounting this on my floor tom because on the amount of stuff I have in here. This bag is huge I keep 4 pairs of keyboard mallets, 2 pairs of timpani mallets, Hot rods, thunder rods and several pairs of sticks. I also keep a few tools, a note book and some practice books. This bag is best for symphonic percussionists or frequent giggers. For the price and the build quality you cant go wrong, so if the smaller bags just aren't cutting and you need something bigger this is perfect.

Comments about Kaces Not Leather Deluxe Stick Bag:

I've used this stick bag for about five years now, and it has easily taken the stress of on the road gigs. I keep about a dozen sticks and mallets in the separated pockets for different gigs. Plus I keep my in-ear monitors and egg shaker in one of the internal zipped pockets, and in the other it holds all of my keys, tools, ear plugs, moon gel and other misc stuff. In the roomy outside pockets I keep set lists, notebooks, a towel, band access badges and everything I need to each show. It has been dragged around for years and it still looks and functions as new. I've never had an issue and highly recommend this for the gigging drummer.

Comments about Kaces Not Leather Deluxe Stick Bag:

The Kase not leather bag is great for high school percussion. Very roomy, holds lots of mallets and sticks with room for band binder, towel, metronome, tuner and more. This bag looks and feels like leather. We really like the adjustable padded shoulder straps for carrying on either sides of your shoulders. The only downside is that it has plastic zippers, which might not last as long as a metal one; that's why we gave it a 4 star rating.

This is a great bag. Its strong, sturdy, and made out of good material. When I bought it I was wondering if it had any inside pockets for my drum keys, metronome etc.. It does. Its a huge bag, and I have yet to find uses for many of the outside pockets. This is a great bag, I was and still am very impressed with the quality. If you need a good bag that will last you a long time get this right away.

Comments about Kaces Not Leather Deluxe Stick Bag:

I was very impressed the moment I took it out of the box. The "not leather" material looks expensive, sleek, and professional and seems very durable. Although I feel that the stitching on the bag could be doubled or reinforced rather than single stitching to give it extra durability. The inside main pockets are large enough to hold all my mallets, sticks, and brushes without being packed too tightly. The smaller inside pockets we're perfect for my metronome and drum keys. The outside pockets are also very spacious, having enough room to hold my binder and method books on one side, with my practice pad and pencil bag on the other side.
The bag is able to hold all of these items without being TOO big like other mallet bags and cases. The padded strap also makes it very easy and convenient to carry to classes and performances. If your a student looking for a great looking bag that can carry all of the essentials plus more, than this one is for you. Overall I'm very impressed with the style and features of this bag. I plan on using it throughout my college career and I Highly recommend it.

Comments about Kaces Not Leather Deluxe Stick Bag:

This is an awesome bag. I'm actually in the process of buying another one as I live in both Dallas and Chicago and have started playing in both places. I was going to go with a cheap bag, but that just felt dirty. Honestly, if you are an active drummer, you carry your stuff back and forth all the time. You wouldn't wrap your cymbals with a towel or throw your toms in pillow case, would you? Well, I can play drums without a tom and even without a cymbal...but not that great without sticks!!! So get a bag that lasts and represents the type of professional you are...or want to be.
