I decided to try these as La Bella is renown for their strings in the bass community. These strings are awesome. Great balanced tone right out of the package. They feel great too. Highly recommend giving them a shot!

Comments about LaBella 7GPS Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Having worked in the Guitar string industry I know that most of the strings out there come from just a handful of factories and the hype on the packaging means very little. What's in a name? I bought an acoustic after years of devotion to my electrics. I am loving it. STock strings sounded great but were too heavy for these old fingers so I got a set of these LaBella lights at the local shop because they were the cheapest. They sound better than the Prominent brand name strings that came on the guitar. At this price and with the high playing hours they'll get in my hands (at least one 6 hour session per week plus practice time) any set will wear out fairly quickly, so there's no better deal that a great sounding cheap set of strings.

Comments about LaBella 7GPS Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Tried 10 or different brands and gauges of strings on my new martin before finally deciding on these. Well balanced and a full tonality, the wound G for this light of a gauge pulls out the mids - still plenty of punch - not too much overbearing bass - sounds great through the PA.
I always play through the PA and a medium set was just too much - hard to EQ well - these strings keep the PA under control and don't drive over the vocals. Very nice - long lasting - stable.
