Comments about Loxx Strap Lock For Acoustic:
I have these on two acoustics now (and use Loxx on all my electrics). With this setup, straps are instant on/off, yet extremely secure when attached.
Although easy to install, I had my tech do it when the acoustic was in for other work. The headstock pin is a nice feature for those that actually like a strap attached to the headstock, but I prefer mine on the side of the heel.
Comments about Strap Lock For Acoustic:
Loxx strap locks are great, not sure why they don't seem more popular. I have them on all my electrics and finally got around to trying them on an acoustic.
You might want to have your tech/luthier install these as they likely will require one or more new holes drilled. [On electrics, you just replace the old strap buttons.] I had my tech do it in order to get the positioning right and not mess up the wood. One new hole was drilled in the neck heel and one was drilled about 1" below the end pin.
There's also a plate that can be attached to the back of the headstock, in case you like the strap attached there instead of at the heel.
