Comments about Ludwig Atlas Standard Cymbal Stand:
I was looking to replace some light weight stands that through the years had become pretty banged up traveling inside my case. I love Ludwig products and figured these would be a nice light stand. NOPE. These stands are heavy duty and look like they will last forever.

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Standard Cymbal Stand:
Tried DW 3000 stand and wasn't heavey enough. This stand is medium to heavey, but not too heavey. In my opinion these would be great for playing around towm, but if you're going ti hit the road I would go with the Atlas Pro. I'm going to use these on an electronic kit!

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Standard Cymbal Stand:
Great medium weight stand. It borders on heaveyweight. Not quite. Had never seen DW 3000 straight stand before, so I ordered one.Could tell immediately it would not be heavy enough. Musicians Friend beig the great company they are, let me exchange it for the Ludwig Atlas standard. It's heavier! This hardware is perfect for gigging around town,I'm gonna wind up using these stands on an electronic kit. In my opinion for traveling the Atlas Pro would be better, but these are a little more than medium weight.

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Standard Cymbal Stand:
I like the Class Pro more than the Atlas Pro II (except for the boom stand) simply because I find the memory locks to only add weight to the stand and are cumbersome. The Atlas Pro is very sturdy, road-worthy, stable, etc. It is very easy to adjust and stays well within that adjustment. I found it worth the money that I paid for it.

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Standard Cymbal Stand:
I recently got a couple of these stands and I was really happy at the stability of the stand at the price.the tilted can get the cymbal wherever you want and unlike my last stand, it stays in place!
Pros

Cons
- Awkward Wingnuts

Comments about Ludwig Atlas Standard Cymbal Stand:
I use this for my ride & will be purchasing another soon. Sturdy legs, three tiers of pipe, and the tilter is very smooth (felts are good quality as well). The only slight qualm is that the wingnuts on the stand & on the cymbal post are obviously designed to look nice, rather than feel nice, but they get the job done.
I much prefer the look of it to my Tama Roadpro, and it doesn't seem like the tilter will lose smoothness over time like the Tama did. They're about the same weight.
