Comments about On-Stage DS7200QRB Quik-Release Adjustable Desk Stand:
I just started home recording and find this to work well for me. It doesn't take up much room on my desk and holds the MXL900 mic securely.
Comments about DS7200QRB Quik-Release Adjustable Desk Stand:
This replaced my boom stand. Small, solid, good height adjustment and works great.

Comments about On-Stage DS7200QRB Quik-Release Adjustable Desk Stand:
I found this stand while browsing lots of options for table-top use. The adjustable height adjustment via the clutch caught my eye. I wanted an adjustable height for the flexibility of varying heights of tables and people, but I also knew the adjustment would work well for miking an amp on the floor or some seated wind instruments (clarinet, soprano sax). The cast-iron base is heavy enough to hold a mic in place, and I can probably even use a small boom for some extra height if needed. The base is also styled with a sleeker profile than the more onmipresent table-top stands. There are 5 plastic feet on the base that are friction-fit to metal posts. If one is ever lost, I can easily replace it.
