This is the only tuner I have besides pitch pipes, and I HATED them....my ear isnt the best so I kept breaking strings. I got this for christmas, and I love it! Its easy to read, and tells me how far out to pitch I am, and the LED lights help alot. Sometimes it will get a little spastic on you, but other than that, I dont see anything wrong with it, and tuning to an electric guiter can be a little frustrating with it, but other than that, it's a great little tuner.

This tuner does have input/output jacks, so you can here yourself in the amp while still using the tuner with a cable. It uses cents only, which is somewhat of an inconvenience, especially if you are used to strobe tuners. It does have a good concept with switching from auto to manual, so you can hurry and tune up the whole set of strings, or just work on one particular problem string. However, I would advise anyone who wants a good guitar tuner to buy anything but this. It gets too confused do to harmonic interferences from the strings. I used both the QuikTune 1 and a Fender AT-3,and while the QuikTune said that a string was in tune, the AT-3 showed it being extremely sharp. This has been a repetitive problem for me with this tuner, since it has cost me a total of 4 high-E (.009) strings over the past 6 months.

If you're just beginning, this tuner will be great. It's fairly durable, cheap and can automatically tune each string (rather than manually selecting the note for it to recognize). If you've got a good sense of intonation, go for something more expensive, because this tuner isn't very accurate. It's also kind of erratic and sometimes wont even be able to pick up your sound. I've found the only way to get it to recognize all of my strings is to turn the treble ALL the way up on my electric, or pick right at the bridge on my acoustic. One good thing I can say about this tuner is that I've had it for almost seven years and it still works. If you don't mind having to tinker with it, go for it. Otherwise, get something a little more expensive.

This think is a war thank if you're looking for something durable, however not always reliable, the tuner is slow, and is susceptible to harmonical interferences from other strings and from noise around you, I have found it to be very accurate when I plug my guitar into it directly and turn the volume and treble halfway, I would not recommend it for beginners who can't tune by ear cause you might end up breaking strings, especially high E, cause the silly things doesn't always tune accurate, I guess you get what you pay for!!
I've had this tuner about 6 years and have only had to replace the battery once. It is not perfect and there are better tuners for slightly more money. It gets annoying waiting for it to settle down and give a reading plus it's not always accurate.

This tuner is good and rugged for a beginner, but is not well suited for the serious student. The quartz display is just too slow for me, as are the LED displays. I prefer the accuracy and speed of a good analog tuner.
I own an electric guitar and trying to tune with this thing is like trying to force an elephant through a pin-hole. It doesn't work half the time, and the other half gives out bad readings.
i had this little thing for years. almost 10 years i have to say. this tuner never failed me once except the battery. i can use this for almost a year everyday and then change the battery. compare the digitech tuner, this has that great tuner outcome. id buy another one after mine decides to retire.
This tuner served me well for several years before it broke. I never had a problem with its speed or accuracy.
it can only do standard tuning and you can't even manually tune.
Had one for well several years (till I lost it). Never any major problems, although sometimes slow to recognise E on bass guitars. OK if you have the patience, sot so good if you're on stage and getting no reading!!! Tuned acoustic guitars ok ,with built-in mic.
