Snareweight LLC M80 Drum Damper - White

Precise snare control without tape, gels or compromise starts with the Snareweight M80 drum damper, engineered to control drum resonance without sacrificing brightness or natural head response. Handcrafted in South San Francisco, USA, it features a magnetic, flexible design made from genuine USA leather that rests directly on the drumhead—no adhesive, no residue and nothing to peel away. Designed for medium to medium-heavy dampening, one M80 provides four settings—mild, medium, heavy or off—allowing quick sustain control or complete disengagement between songs. The leather, approximately 1.3 mm to 1.6 mm thick and about 10" across, adds controlled mass to the head to help shorten ringing more effectively than tape or plastic. A patented clip secures to all sizes of metal hoops and 1/4" wood hoops—including triple-flange, die-cast, angel, true and brass hoops—though it is not compatible with S-Hoops and is not recommended for Tama Arc Hoops. Available in Black, White and Brown color variants, the M80 fits drums from 8" to 18". The White version uses CH leather, the softest in the line, providing slightly more dampening and a more gate-like response than the colored versions while maintaining a discreet look on white drumheads.
