Unprecedented Speed, Accuracy, and Control

The Trick Pro1-V BigFoot Chain Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal is an engineering marvel. It features innovative design elements, aerospace materials - titanium, billet aluminum, stainless and hardened steel - and machined on the latest state-of-the-art CNC equipment. These technical innovations result in one thing: A pedal that plays like no other.

Compression Spring Technology.
The Pro1-V utilizes an internally housed compression spring. Compression springs have the ability to cycle faster and utilize energy more efficiently. The benefit is a pedal that will react as fast as your foot. The compression spring works with the profiled cam follower to reduce the amount of spring tension build-up as the beater approaches the drum head; this gives you a more fluid stroke from beginning to end. Spring tension is adjustable while you're playing-simply turn the spring dial that's conveniently located within easy reach at the top of the main housing. Imagine no longer having to remove your pedal from the hoop to change tension settings.

Independent Split-Cam System
Because of the split-cam systems design, you can now change the attitude and attack of the pedal in seconds. Trick's fully independent split cam system allows the player to infinitely and independently adjust the beater from the drive cam angle with a 360-degree range of smooth yet solid settings. This system also allows for immediate conversion of the Pro1-V into a cocktail kit pedal or a triggering pedal.

Chain Drive
The Pro1-V Chain Drive Pedals utilize a large, single chain. This keeps the feel of the pedal light while increasing durability. And, for those players who need added versatility, a Direct Drive Conversion Kit is also available, allowing the pedal to become Direct Drive within seconds.

Universally adjustable, the Pro1-V Bass Drum Beaters can be easily moved to any height/angle along the titanium shafts within seconds by using a standard size drum key. This allows the beater to strike your desired location on any sized bass drum without radically affecting the overall pedal feel. Hard/Soft surface change-out options are also included with beaters.

The BigFoot's 13" footboard is machined from solid billet aluminum that is rigorously fracture tested to 12,000 pounds per square inch. The footboard is attached to the heel plate using a pressed-fit hardened solid steel pin which is extremely reliable and durable.

Drive Shaft
All Trick Double Pedals feature the P1V6 Drive Shaft, which offers zero latency and zero backlash. This means that any and all motion that takes place on the secondary pedal is translated directly to the primary pedal. The P1V6 Drive Shaft is so reliable and effective that is has become a popular retrofit upgrade for non-Trick Pedals.

Base Plate
The Pro1-V base plate is machined from solid billet aluminum. This provides the Pro1-V pedal with an ultra sturdy platform on which everything else is built. The base plate is tensile strength certified to withstand over 12,000 PSI.

Slide-Trac Rapid Release Hoop Clamp
This multi-purpose feature streamlines your set-up time. To connect the Pro1-V to your bass drum, simply hold down on the spring loaded lever and slide the pedal onto your hoop and release! No more fumbling to screw and unscrew wing nuts. When it's time to pack up, simply squeeze down on the lever to disengage the clamp, remove your Pro 1-V pedal, and hit the road! The Slide-Trac has three memory set-screws so you can pre set your hoop size and distance from the head for fast set up and tear down, time after time. It also allows the Pro1-V to fit snugly and perfectly on any brand of bass drum hoop regardless of the width or thickness.

  • All machined parts - NO DIE CAST - for superior quality and toughness
  • Precision aerospace grade bearings
  • Hand assembled and inspected
  • Split-Cam design to allow adjustment of beater and pedal angles independently
  • Slide-Trac hoop clamp adjustment providing variable distance for the pedal from the kick drum
  • Highly accessible and extremely easy to use tension adjustment knob
  • Multiple height adjustment cluster to adjust the stroke speed of the pedal
  • Internal compression spring technology

Comments about Trick Drums Pro 1 V Bigfoot Chain Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal:

indeed there is a learning curve but the results are flams and rolls just floating out of your feet and rolls with attack and power that ring thunder. The sensitivity requires your feet to almost relearn the chops' but wow its the best without argument. After a DW 9 series in my kit for years these are a permanent piece.

Comments about Trick Drums Pro 1 V Bigfoot Chain Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal:

Simply the best double pedal on the market. I played the Axis X-L2 Longboard Double Pedal for about 2 years - very good, but not durable. The Trick Pro 1-V blows the Axis away. I've had mine for about 3 years, and never had a mechanical issue. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it (i.e. adapt from just some pedal to the best pedal), you could never go without it. Triplets are easy - even when thrown into a driving double bass pattern (see Blacken the Cursed Sun - Lamb of God). Tap the pedal with nothing in the beater's path and it will oscillate forever (very sensitive). And power is not at all compromised - easily the most powerful double pedal strokes of any pedal I've played. Very expensive, but worth it without a doubt - basically only 2 pieces of equipment can be changed to maximize your playing ability: drum sticks and your pedal. Find your favorite sticks, and then buy this pedal.
