Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
I've used these mallets for two marching seasons, and I've only had one small problem with them. The grips came off from using them so much. A little super glue fixed that problem. Other than the small grip issue, these mallets are simply some of the best.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
These mallets are amazing for marching tenors. I play tenors for my highschool band and use these mallets every parcades or event. Works well for crossing over. I purchest the extra hard mallets. Also sounds great on a cowbell. Grips slide a little bit but super glue won't hurt em. Don't drop your mallets while marching

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
These mallets, though heavy, are a fantastic addition to any tenor drummer's stick bag. When I was a Sophmore starting on tenors I was told to buy a pair by a senior. He had the heavy weights and they were nearly destroyed. So far there hasn't been a problem with weathering after three weeks of heavy use. Great buy.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
We use these mallets in marching band and they do last a long time. We did manage to break a pair in 1 year but they really are great mallets. open diddles, nice scrapes, and nice crossovers.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
No buzz, ultra loud, amazing clarity, perfect length. Even beats promark ATA3's.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
I have used these mallets at my highschool, they are light so you can play fast, yet at the same time they are heavy enough to play loud. I have used the hard ones, and the shape idk if it has much of an affect but has great response.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
Very good sticks. We have a couple pairs that have lasted forever and are passed down through the years, since way before anyone in the drumline knows. However, this price seems to be a little high, and therefore I would go to a store near you to check out prices first. Still, way worth your money. I have never heard of a broken stick with these, and trust me, we play the hell out of them.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
Mallets are good for more than just drum stuff, you can use 'em on oil barrels, big plastic buckets, garbage cans - anything you feel like.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
I got the extra hard Mallets for Christmas, and I used them when i got back to school, and i have never heard my rolls so clean and crisp! Im never using sticks again on tenors! The only thing that isnt all that great is that because of the weight on the heads, i cant go as fast when it comes to scraping. But you have to learn to walk before u can run, so I'm not even trippin on that. I recommend these, especially if your the only tenor drummer in the band!
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
These mallets are quite nice, They do break though, so don't think that they don't. The puffies are beautiful sounding, a nice rich tone, the extra hard, a nice clean sharp sound. I haven't tried the felt ones or the cartwheels though, but I am sure they are quality.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Multi-Tenor Mallets Aluminum Shaft:
Great sticks. They offer excellent rebound and great control and are perfect for scrapes and super easy for crossovers. These sticks will break, but after years of use. Great mallets!
