ABM power with Valve Drive and 9-band EQ.
From clean support to gritty overdrive, Valve Drive, 9-band EQ, compression and sub-harmonics give this 300W ABM head an unusually wide tonal range. The Ashdown UK-ABM-300-EVO IV 300W bass amp head is built in the UK and available as a Guitar Center Exclusive, bringing the ABM EVO IV platform into a 300W format with a 12AX7 Variable Valve Drive Plus stage, redesigned 9-band EQ, One Knob Dynamic Compressor and Sub-Harmonic Generator. The familiar VU meter sits alongside a balanced DI, effects loop, line input, tuner output and dual Neutrik speaker outputs for flexible stage and studio routing. With a 4-ohm minimum load, the head supports compatible bass cabinet configurations while retaining the hands-on control associated with the ABM line.
12AX7 Variable Valve Drive Plus and 9-Band EQ
Variable Valve Drive Plus sends the signal through a 12AX7 preamp tube and lets players move from clean response toward warmer, grittier overdrive as the Drive control is increased. The drive stage can be preset and engaged by footswitch for quick changes during a performance. A redesigned 9-band EQ provides detailed frequency shaping across the bass range, extending tone-shaping control beyond a conventional 3-band EQ.
Compression, Sub-Harmonics and Flexible Routing
The One Knob Dynamic Compressor provides straightforward control over playing dynamics, while the Sub-Harmonic Generator adds adjustable low-octave content. High- and low-sensitivity instrument inputs are joined by a line input, effects send and return, tuner output and balanced DI for connecting the head to pedalboards, recording systems and live sound rigs. Two Neutrik jack/speakON speaker outputs support compatible cabinets down to a 4-ohm minimum load.

Built at Ashdown’s UK facility, the 300W model sits alongside the 600W head in the UK-ABM EVO IV lineup. It retains the family’s Variable Valve Drive Plus, 9-band EQ, compression, Sub-Harmonic Generator and extensive connectivity while pairing those features with a 300W output stage. Available as a Guitar Center Exclusive, the UK-ABM-300-EVO IV delivers the established ABM control set in a versatile 300W format centered on hands-on tone shaping.
