Lightweight, practical and designed for everyday playing, the Ashdown Studio 10 bass combo amp delivers 60W RMS into 8 ohms through a 10" Ashdown driver in a compact 1x10" format. A responsibly sourced poplar-ply cabinet keeps the combo light at 15.4 lb., while a switchable Shape control, 5-band EQ, tube-emulated Drive, Passive/Active input selector, line input and headphone output provide flexible tone shaping and useful connectivity for practice, writing and rehearsal.
Compact 1x10" Studio-Series Platform
The Studio 10 uses a single 10" Ashdown driver in a lightweight poplar-ply enclosure designed for practice, writing and rehearsal. At 15.4 lb., the compact combo is easy to transport while retaining the core tone-shaping features of the Studio series.
5-Band EQ and Tube-Emulated Drive
The Shape switch provides an immediate pre-shaped EQ contour, while Pre-Gain adjusts the input level to accommodate different instruments. A 5-band EQ provides dedicated Bass, Lo-Mid, Middle, Hi-Mid and Treble controls with ±15dB adjustment for detailed tone shaping. Ashdown’s variable tube-emulated Drive adds adjustable overdrive directly from the amplifier without requiring an external pedal.
Practice-Focused Inputs and Silent Use
A 1/4" instrument input with a Passive/Active selector and -15dB pad accommodates higher-output active basses as well as passive instruments. The line input accepts an external audio source for play-along practice, while the 1/4" headphone output mutes the internal speaker for silent sessions. Combining 60W output, a compact 1x10" speaker configuration and extensive tone controls, the Studio 10 provides a straightforward platform for everyday bass practice and rehearsal.
