5 effects in one.

The Gig-FX Mega Wah is 5 individual killer effects:

A classic wah plus adjustable filters and EQs to get the sound of your choice from a cry to a throbbing deep wah that can give a guitar the funkiest, heaviest wah you can imagine.

An auto-wah with controllable frequency. Set the wah to the tempo of the song and wah away rhythmically with no effort.

A trig-wah triggered by a note”play a note and it wahs”no foot effort required”for fast licks, this is an unbelievably funky sound.

Innovative stereo wah. Stereo in and stereo out”it wahs in unison on both sides”twice as much wah-appeal”but then”REVERSE the wah on one side so one side wahs while the other side "haws," so to speak. It's like a chorus on stereoids!

A volume/gain boost pedal with up to +12dB of gain, controllable by the volume pedal.

  • Classic wah plus adjustable filters and EQs
  • Auto-wah with controllable frequency
  • Trig-wah triggered by a note
  • Innovative stereo wah
  • Volume/gain boost pedal with up to +12dB of gain

One wah to rule them all! Put it in the cart right now!

Comments about Gig-FX The Mega Wah:

I've used this jewel for about 3 years. Stays solid and reliable. Tons of options and all of them usable. It's true it has some white noise going on, but only happens if you are using it before a very high gain amp cranked up, and if you step on the wah without playing guitar. The cost benefit relation is unbeatable. You have the crybaby, megawah, triggered wah, auto-wah, stereo reversed wah, volume boost and the ULTRA HUGE sound of the MEGA MEGA WAH (you get this sound by having in series the 2 wah stages of the Mega Wah(oh yes, it has 2 analog wah circuits inside). In conclusion, this pedal is the best for the money; lets your tone flow untouched; sounds huge and organic and it is made to last. It's by far the best wah i've tried.

Comments about Gig-FX The Mega Wah:

I've been using my Mega Wah for years. It is still working well, but gets loose (after 7 or 8 years of heavy gigging) and I have to tighten the two screws that hold the pedal in the bypass position. It will often engage on its own and I have to keep my foot on it. Which is why I want to buy a new one, but they are no where to be found any more. Anyways the thing sounds awesome in a stereo setup. If you have a stereo amp (Motion Sound KBR3D or Space Station, or PA speakers), this is the wah pedal for you. Very versatile, sounds great on ep, funky clav stuff, I use it a lot for the reggae echo effect - tap tempo a slow triplet delay on the Nord Stage and then move the wah - it's the exact effect created in real time that you hear on so many dub recordings. It doesn't sound 'cheesy' at all to me. Currently forced into using a mono path so I switched to my Vox wah pedal, which is nice, but no where near as dramatic as the Mega (I always use the Mega setting, you can use the Crybaby mode for a more subtle wah). Looking for another one, I hope I find it.

    This Pedal Rocks!!!

Comments about Gig-FX The Mega Wah:

This pedal is awesome. I had a crybaby before and I don't think I will ever go back. I use the MegaWah setting the most, but the fact that it can function as a volume pedal, Trig Wah, and Auto Wah is also pretty cool. The ability to play in stereo and switch the wah to reverse adds much creative potential. Anyone who is interested in pedals should look at all of the gig-fx pedals because they are all really interesting. If you want an amazing wah pedal, this is it.

Comments about Gig-FX The Mega Wah:

5th time I have submitted this review- for some reason they don't seem to publish the negative reviews on certain items??? This thing sounds cheesy, has a lousy optical switching system that requires adjustment via 2 tiny screw pots housed inside that you can't really get to without removing the back plate, which voids the warranty! Lots of noise and static. This will not stand up to heavy gigging, even if I had a use for it! Sold it for half what I paid the week after I got it. To MF's credit, they would have taken my return (got mine on ebay- mistake!) Get something else- these are not worth half what they go for.
