With a high-compression horn driver, custom 15" woofer, onboard 3-band EQ, transistor-based overdrive, dedicated Bass Out, 11-pin organ connectivity and standard 1/4" line input, the 991 bridges authentic rotary tradition with modern flexibility for Hammond organs and beyond.

Heritage Components and Signature Rotary Character

At the core of the 991 is the same horn and driver architecture found in the 122H and 142H Heritage models, including a V-21–inspired high-compression driver that captures the unmistakable shimmer and projection of classic Leslie tone. The custom-designed 15" woofer is voiced to recreate the warmth and depth of vintage 122 cabinets while handling the increased output of contemporary amplification. Don Leslie’s original cabinet proportions and widened louvers are faithfully reinterpreted to enhance internal resonance and external dispersion, producing the dimensional swirl and three-dimensional movement that define the Leslie sound.

Expanded Tone Shaping and Professional Integration

Beyond its historic voice, the 991 delivers modern performance control with a built-in 3-band EQ for venue-specific tonal shaping and a transistor overdrive circuit inspired by vintage push-pull designs for everything from subtle warmth to full rock grit. The 11-pin input connects directly to compatible Hammond organs, while the 1/4" line input welcomes additional keyboards and instruments without external preamps. A dedicated Bass Out with adjustable low-pass control allows low frequencies to be routed to an external bass amp or subwoofer for added reinforcement.
