If you want crazy, unusable, over the top effects, buy one of Line-6's crappy pedals. This pedal has a very subtle, background enhancing effect. If I had to give it a flaw, I would say it is not crazy enough. But I like the way it just enhances your sound without covering it up.
Marshall's Amp quality has really gone down in recent years, but that its good to see that their new line of pedals are picking up the slack. Ive been a Boss user for years but lately their new stuff has really started to suck, and this pedal and the marshall reflector has blown the comeptition away for me. The vintage chorus is by far the best effect on it, the rest are jsut gravy. If you want a real chorus thats not too overpowering and keeps your tone nice and warm, get this pedal.
The value of 4 different effects is worth it alone. The chorus, phaser, and vibe I really like but the flanger is okay. I don't use step phase so no comment on that.
