Because of the sampling rate is static, you'll simply hit notes you can't create. This is a no-go for me.

Comments about Mooer LoFi Machine Sample Reducing Effects Pedal:
I snagged this pedal thinking it would help me craft some weird video-game and synth noises but ultimately would be of limited use. Thankfully I was wrong. This pedal really surprised me with how accurate the tracking is, how well it handled chords, and how useable it was in multiple settings. The extreme setting of the pedal are fantastically noisy and chaotic, but when you dial it back a little, there are excellent and thick synth sounds. Im using this pedal with a bass, but i always set it to Synth for the most full sound. For the price, you will be pleasantly surprised. Get it!

Comments about Mooer LoFi Machine Sample Reducing Effects Pedal:
This is very nice. you can use it alone, but also can combined with other effects and this is sick!
The reason that I give 4 stars is that at its exorbitances you cant play many things like full chords. It becomes extremely noisy but that's the point at least maybe I think .

Comments about Mooer LoFi Machine Sample Reducing Effects Pedal:
I use it on bass guitar. It gives me that bit crusher sound I love on my low end for my Drum n Bass project. It's my distinctive sound.
Comments about Mooer LoFi Machine Sample Reducing Effects Pedal:
This pedal is alright. I bought it to get some video game type sounds. It's pretty good at that. I play bass through it, but I liked the 'synth' setting the best. Switching through the instrument settings seemed to only add more treble content. And I found I liked the knob for sample rate all the way OFF. It seemed to only add very loud white noise with a subtle, almost inaudible sweeping effect. But the 'bit' knob is fun to play with. Overall I can't say this is a bad pedal, but for me it seems pretty limited in what it does. This is the first Mooer I've ever tried and I will probably still try out some of their other effects.

Comments about Mooer LoFi Machine Sample Reducing Effects Pedal:
This pedal is very unique effect. By itself, it isn't musical. However, when inserted into a chain, it adds to the sound. Its own effect does not pulse, so I added a phaser and delay and the result was heavy. Up front, I placed an overdrive to a good effect, too. I'm just starting out with it, so I am still experimenting. But, I think it's going to be kept, but not used with any clean tones. Mooer is a name to be watched, they're releasing their "Ocean Machine" soon. I hope MF will have it in stock.
