Don't Forget

WoodVerb is a must have for the acoustic guitar players' tone arsenal.

WoodVerb is a digital reverb pedal specifically designed for acoustic guitar players, its goal is to provide the users with the most direct experience of using the reverb effect. Do not get fooled by its Mini and mild outlook, WoodVerb provides three high quality and professional reverb modes as well as a wide variety of adjustment options.

Let's forget about those Room, Hall reverb that always follow the same pattern. WoodVerb provides you with three modes.
Reverb: Splendid plate reverb which gives you an experience from the smallest room to the largest space
Mod: Adds modulation effect to the reverb and creates a psychedelic effect
Filter: Adds a sweeping filter sound to the reverb and makes it feel like a swirling wind

Of course you do not need to worry that your acoustic guitar will sound like an electric guitar—the special circuit design can keep the original acoustic sound intact and pure while achieving a fabulous reverb effect. WoodVerb will be a must in those acoustic guitar players' tone arsenal.

Comments about Mooer Woodverb Effects Pedal:

There is a selector switch that gives 3 options; the plain reverb, the "Mod", and the "Filter". Each position changes the function of the tiny assignable knob on the right of the unit. What a pleasant surprise, that the plain reverb is superb right out of the box on a modern (smaller than dreadnought) grand auditorium style guitar equipped with a competent acoustic Fishman-style bridge pickup-preamp. The reverb sound appears to be pre-loaded with what I would describe as "body", which is a accentuation of low and mid wood resonance, without the addition of midrange fatigue. As you increase the (tiny) "mix" knob, you experience more body. As you increase the large "Decay" knob, you increase the overall reverb effect, simultaneously adding tail to the reverb.. so the one large "Decay" knob is all you would need to tweak in the middle of a performance, based on your vision for the song. A little extra high end shimmer can be added either by the guitar preamp or a small tweak of the (assignable, tiny) "Tone" knob on the Woodverb, beyond the 12:00 position. This internal body/resonance effect is the defining feature of the Woodverb reverb selection. I think this was intentional, and it works so well for me, that I no longer need my Aphex Acoustic Xciter pedal to tweak more acoustic life into the signal path. Now, moving the selector switch from the plain reverb to the "Mod" position, I was again surprised to find what I'd describe as a delicious and light chorusing effect, which is musically useful, not gimmick-y at all, with a continuum of flavor via the mix and (assignable, tiny) Rate knob. The Decay knob works as before. Without actually changing any of the knob settings from my go-to acoustic reverb sound, the switch flick to "Mod" setting gives me a sweet and slow swirling boilerplate chorus blended with the superb reverb. And with this option, I could retire my TC Corona pedal for my minimized rig.
