Does What I Need it to Do!

By Stratcat-vIkk9

from Pittsburgh, PA

It's a great pedal - if you know how to use it! What I mean is: it's like rolling off your volume knob on your GUITAR! I don't know any product that will decrease your volume w/o a roll-off of tone. The only way that can be achieved is by turning down the volume knob on your amp. i use it to boost between lead and rhythm and it works flawlessly.

Sturdy and does what it is intended to do

Well, some of the low reviews here I can see are from people that don't understand what this type of volume pedal is supposed to do. Rolling down the volume on your guitar DOES decrease the gain hence a decrease in overdrive/dist, same with this pedal. It's meant to be a secondary volume knob for your guitar! If you want a volume pedal to decrease the overall volume but retain the gain, you need one in the loop of your amp (like a Morley Little Alligator) as this is a totally different design and purpose.

Great volume control

By Bill-AtJHj

Pedal works great, is responsive, and has all the right features. Seems to last a long time on one battery. The PVO has better control of volume than the Little Alligator. I use it on an acoustic instrument between the pickup and the preamp.

dont buy this pedal

By jacksonguitarer

from Santa Rosa, CA

i bought this pedal about two years ago and i am very disappointed with its quality. it has virtually no range and the range it does have changes from really high to really low in all of about 1 mm. I wouldn't recommend this pedal to anyone. If you want a wah go with a crybaby.

I wish I hadn't Bought It!

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I bought this pedal for 60 (about $114) and it is not worth the money! If your using distortion, it doesnt make it louder or quieter, it just makes the distortion less or more. Morley only tell you this in the manual!DO NOT BUY
