It's not a "pro quality" pedal board. I'm not a pro, so that's fine. I put my pedals on it, they stay put, and they're powered when I plug the board in. Can you argue with that? No, you can't. It's cheap, so expect it to wear out at some point. If it does, go buy another or save your nickles for something more expensive and hopefully more road worthy. I'm not too rough on my gear, so I've been pretty satisfied so far.
Pretty good in the way of features: carry bag (pretty good quality bag, I haven't had any issues with it), ample velcro to work with, a good amount of power to go around, a fair amount of room for typical size Boss or Digitech sized pedals. It does what is says it will, power your pedals and keep them still (as long as the pedal stays glued to the velcro).
I'm giving it a little ding on quality only because the power adapter is a little flimsly. I see this unit developing a short before the rest of the board shows any kind of wear. I read reports of the board seperating from power strip, but that wouldn't make it work any less. So far, It's held up to about 8 months of weekly use.
For the money, it's hard to beat this. In hindsite, I might spend the money on a standalone power supply unit and just make a board out of 1/8in plywood or something. But, I'm lazy, so there's very little chance of me actually doing all that. With this thing, I put all my pedals on it and it just worked. I might buy another to put some other pedals on it. It's so easy to just plop this thing down and plug it in, you don't even have to take it out of the bag if you don't want to (at some gigs, you might want to just leave it in there. stuff just walks away too often, ya know).

I ordered this board because the previous board I ordered from Musicians Friend is on back order until March. Of course no one told me that. I had to open a chat to find that out when I received shipment of part of my order. I have had other pedal boards, and this was going to just be an addition so I could build a back up board. I didn't want to spend much. Here are the issues. (1) The zippers are just cheap, cheap and hard to unzip. (2) But the BIGGER issue is the design. When you unzip the case the board the "pedal board" comes out of the case like a slab of flat plywood. No angle. No metal. Just a flat piece of board covered in a black felt type lining. I know it's inexpensive but I expected something better than this.

Tough lil guy

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

So I bought this product about a year or two ago an seen this dude on here today because I wanted a larger pedal board to hold phasers, flangers an such.. so I decided to write a reveiw. This pedal board is amazing for the price. The power supply powers any stompbox youll need. The quality of this item really surprised me, after about 50 or so gigs it still holds up. Yea the sticky on the back of the velcro loses its strength but thats litterally a 5 doller fix. Other reveiws ive read say the zipper on the case is terrible basically, well, if u overcrowd it or zip it up hard an out of line of coarse its gonna break on you... as long as your careful in aleining the lid to the base of the case you wont have a problem with the zipper, mine still holds up. Overall, if you just need a few pedals and want a sturdy powered pedalboard, this guys for you. You cant beat this product for the price you pay, period, get it!!

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

My main use for this board is to travel back in forth to church and the occasional jam with my friends. The board works great and hold my pedals nicely. Buy this board.
Can power up to six of my pedals at once which helps eliminate cords. The gig bag seems well made and holds up to travel well.
I have had the board for about a month and everything seems to work great. The board is nothing to fancy but fits my needs. I wish the power cords were a little thicker and better quality for road use.
Compared to a lot of other boards for sale at MF, can't beat the price plus the ability to power six pedals.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

As a loyal customer, I'm so bummed MF thinks it's ok to sell this piece of junk. I got it as a Christmas present. I was excited, having never owned a "real" pedalboard before. Fast forward less than a month, and the power supply has completely separated from the board. The board is covered with little wood chips, caused by the screws wrenching themselves free from whatever sliver of substandard wood the board is constructed of. In addition, the foam padding has started to peel off the bottom of the power supply, where it rests on the floor. And this after only about 3 practices. I'll be looking into a refund, for sure.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

If you want a very simple, no thrills way to carry your pedals and get them powered, this board will do that. The Velcro works (though I have found that Digitech pedals won't let the stick side stay on for very long, but that's an issue with the pedals, not the board). The available power outlets are more than enough for what you can realistically fit onto it. My only complaint is that the metal bracket at the top has started to bend and won't stay firm; doesn't effect power function, but I feel the craftsmanship could have been a bit better.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

At this point, I just play in the basement or get together with friends to jam. No more active gigging for me, so I was simply looking for an inexpensive way to organize my basic pedals and power them. I bought the Musician's Gear Powered Pedalboard in the Summer of 2009, thinking it would stand up to very light use. I was wrong. The bag's zipper broke within two months and the power supply died within four months. I take care of my stuff, so it wasn't abused.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

Pay a bit more for confidence and quality so look elsewhere.
Large Bag with enough room for your Wah Wah, your overgrown Boss Pedal Collection and other diverse weird collection of Effects. Supplied with tons of Velcro, loop method of Pedal collection with Central Power Supply to connect with your 9V Pedals so you can save on your 9V Battery supply.
Pedalboard Quality does not inspire confidence over the long term, especially if you love to stomp on the footswitch of your pedal collection. The central power supply is not well constructed. If that fails, then you are back to using costly 9V batteries

I see this board breaking in half, leaving you with just the Gig Bag to haul your pedal collection. If the zippers break, then you are left with a bunch of fabric. I am not a fan of using velcro to attach to the bottom of your Boss Pedals as this will reduce the value when trying to sell on eBay. The loop method is ok.
Musicians Friend shipped this item and arrived half open without instructions. I did not do a set up so I could return without issues. Of course, they did refund but with return shipping I ended up paying out of pocket just to look at this product and say yuck, it's going back. If you can afford more, then shop and upgrade.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I really like this board. It powers all of my pedals (DD20, Boss Phaser, Route 66, Tuna Melt & Boss Tuner). I haven't had any problems with the board at all and I've been using it for a couple of years (twice a week or so). The only negative that I can say is that the zipper on the bag broke, but what do you expect? For the money you save on the board, you can go buy a road case... This is a great deal for a powered board.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I bought and returned before set up so I could make sure I was refunded the entire purchase price.
Lot's of Velcro and Power Supplies for your Boss Pedals with the loop method of attachment. I did not use the supplied velcro as it reduces the value of your Boss Pedals should you decide to sell your Boss collection on EBay. The loop method I did not get as an effective way to secure your pedals. I did like all the Power Cords and Central Power that came with although no instructions were sent so you are on your own to figure out the best way to have your pedals on tight and most effective way to order the pedal array.
Not sure how this Board will hold up over time if you have a heavy Wah Wah and multiple pedals. Other reviewers note the zipper quality and breakage. If the zipper breaks, it would be a big problem to replace or fix. If you have a heavy foot, the Board could split and then you have a useless peadboard but at least you are left with a gig bag to carry your pedal collection around. But why bother when you can spend a bit more for quality and durability.
I was not impressed and returned back to MF who are great at customer service.

I purchased this as a birthday present for my husband. When he plugged his pedals in, it turned off. We thought it was a fluke and sent it back for an exchange. We received the second pedal board and it had the exact same problem. As soon as he plugged in the pedal...and I say pedal cause it only took 1 to turn it off. It's a big problem when you buy a POWERED pedal board and the POWER part doesn't work. Skip this purchase, save your money and buy the roadrunner with a One spot or similar hookup. This was so disappointing to me...nothing like buying a birthday present that doesn't work!

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

I read a lot of these reviews and I have sollutions to the top two complaints, the poor construction and poor sound (on later models, apparently). For poor sound, I didn't even mess with it, I just bought a 1 Spot Combo Pack - preferred because they have a great clean sound, probably would have bought it even without the bad reviews. As for the poor construction, mine came with the electronic portion already pulled away from the "board". Very light weight, likewise, the screws pull out easily but think about it, you want it to be light. The solution for this is cheap, you get 5 #6 bolts 3/4" in length along with the nuts. You use a 9/64" to drill through the holes. I would recommend leaving the outer screws to start, do the middle three then do the outer ones. Use an xacto to lightly pull the felt away from the bottom of the bolt, add the nut and tighten. If you are the type of player that literally stomps on this thing, I'm sure it will just break the entire board part. Reinforce it with a thin strip of wood such that the electronics don't actually touch the stage/floor, probably a 1"x2" piece of wood (which is actually 3/4"x1.75"). Hope this helps.

I will probably try and jerry rig my own power source and just use the board without the self powered feature

LITERALLY the first time I hooked up my pedals and went to turn one of them on, it broke. The power supply part of the board separates itself from the flimsy fiberboard that makes up the actual board. It is held together with a couple 1/4" long machine screws that are not even intended for wood. Seriously the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen in a piece of equipment.

You get what you pay for I guess.... just wish I put the price of this pedalboard into parts to make my own, It would have been a much better use of the money. I am going to end up using the power supply from this piece of junk to make a decent pedalboard.

Comments about Musician's Gear Powered Pedal Board and Gig Bag:

The board creates a terrible hum for my Boss pedals and doesn't provide enough power for my delay pedal. Completely useless. Without a useful power supply this is an very expensive velcro board.
